This software is great for starting pixel artist and would recommend a bit expensive but never crashes, easy to use, has a big community to help and has really nice looking ui i really like this but the price kind of hurts

Genuinely the best tool to create pixelart assets & animations!

The best program I've used for Pixel art, and I am a Krita fan. The interface is a tad old and lacks some more advanced features like canvas rotation and quick mirroring (the one that doesn't actually flip the canvas so it doesn't return back with ctrl+z) and multi touch for newer drawing tablets/monitors. Ither than that this is a very solid program!

I've clocked countless hours using this tool (partly inflated with some AFK time, but the numbers truly don't lie. This is THE pixel art tool you are looking for. Beyond good bang for buck. Really intuitive workflows, seamless integration with Unity for importing aseprite animations. I tripled my productivity using it for devving my pixel art.
