Really nice game, allow you to do a lot of stuff you can't image. Plus it is really easy to make and generate mission so you don't get bored, it always really nice that player can make any scenario they want and with the simple mechanic, it takes just around 30-40 minutes to learn fully.

I am not going to write an elaborate review, I just want to point out few things that really stand out and that make me love this game: 1) Time frame: AB covers 26 years of Cold War and military development. You can experience 1960s combat with mass tank attacks and infantry waves resembling WW2 battlefield, as well as modern 80s and 90s scenarios dominated by modern technology such as prevalent ATGMs and thermal optics. 2) Mission editor: Within just two or three minutes you can easily generate literally any type of combat scenario. Do you want to play a quick and fast-paced session? Create a scenario of a lone mechanized platoon attacking a small nameless village. You want to spend hours playing and planning every move? Pick a large 15x15km map and command operations of hundreds of troops and dozens of tanks and IFVs supported by artillery, rocket barrages and aviation. 3) Factions: This is not your typical USA vs USSR type of wargame. Here you have every important nation of the Cold War and DLCs add all the others - Belgium, France, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia... Some of these rely on very outdated technology or very unique tactics and organization and require a completely different approach to succeed. 4) Accessibility: AB is very complex and detailed wargame, but unlike others, its controls are simple and intuitive. It is difficult to master, but thanks to comprehensible and minimalistic controls, even complete beginner can easily focus on learning and polishing tactics instead of spending hours just figuring out what to do.

Game is good but the US M48A3 and A5 both have a NR-23 Autocannon as a coax (???)

am i playing a RTS or a turnbased game?????? fix the commands, they're clunkier than cyberpunk pre-fix

Не могу советовать. Из плюсов только то, что это варгейм и достаточно хорошие звуки. Из минусов: 1) Самый важный минус это неудобство играть в это. Как ui так и само управление юнитами. ТИпа написано что это real-time tactical wargame НО твои приказы исполняются не сразу а раз в тик , например 30 секунд. Реалистично , чего не скажешь. Выделил кучу отрядов , дал приказ двигаться - все через разное время начнут это делать =) 2) Наличие багов и то что на игру забили т.к. давно есть 2 часть. Очень смешно было смотреть как вражеские машинки уезжали за карту и не возвращались. 3) Вроде есть подготовка к миссии, а поменять ничего в составе армии не могу. Вроде про реалистичность, а в кампании нельзя самому размещать отряды (по крайней мере не нашел) 4) Мне совсем не было понятно за кого я играю, вроде бы ссср против финнов , но и у всех техника ссср, в названиях отрядов различий никаких. Отдаление карты не особо помогло так как там нет примерной границы области соприкосновения армий. 5) Лучшая система автосохранений: после окончания сражения можно загрузить последний автосейв и вы окажетесь в игре после сражения . То есть автосейв после завершения миссии и вы остаетесь в бесконечном ожидании ничего. 6) Сюжет в кампаниях отсутствует - просто набор сценариев. В целом ужасное впечатление. Думаю если поиграть побольше настроение только ухудшится.
