Arkanoid - Eternal Battle

Every change in the Neo mode is worse than the original mechnanics. The graphics are distracting, low quality, and add nothing, and are somehow even worse in the multiplayer mode (which is really just competitive single-player with forced overlays of the other players). The forced CRT mode is only removeable by the genius dev who added a README instructing you to made it an editable LUA file, but that's not enough to save this game. Even the Retro mode is made worse in multiple ways. Play the original with an emulator, or a better "modern" take like DX Ball.

Overall it's OK! But far from Arkanoid DS! Though it has multiplayer but no one plays it only AI partners will accompany you! New stuff is cool! Music is nice and sometimes even better. But it has no level by level playthrough and visual design might have had customization options! But it's not crap! )) But developers of this game should have used Arkanoid DS as a template!

Battle with 25 players sounds funny. But nobody plays this game... so there goes the concept. Simple, classic Battle Breaker.

Третьего дня, по совету проверенных камрадов, приобрёл новый мегадевайс — «Арканоид Бесконечная Битва». Сразу же, задыхаясь от жадности, установил цепкими лапами и заюзал мегаигру. Шеймплей, моё почтение. Настоящей глыбой был режим Нео. Даже моя, привыкшая к суровым платиновым будням, жопа, отказывалась принимать с первого захода. Ощущения — АТАС. С тетрисом не идёт ни в какое сравнение. Кроме того, режим Бесконечная Битва приятно щекочет дофаминовые рецепторы. Поиграл так весь месяц. Решительно готов к новым аркадам. Игра отличная, всем рекомендую к приобретению. Всё это, как водится, реклама.

It is a solid, licensed Taito arcade game. It has the original game as a Retro Mode and an extended Neo one with new levels. There is also the titular 25 competitive knock out mode that fills with bots when humans are not available. The controls are fine and you have plenty of sensitivity settings for them. The most likely reason the game lacks keyboard movement controls is that the original arcade game apparently had a sensitive turning dial controller for the paddle. You cannot simulate dial accurately with keyboard. You could try to have multiple movement inputs, though that usually means you have to choose between too slow and too fast like in Capcom's 1991 arcade game Block Block. The minor issues are that the game does not resize the window automatically (you can still resize it manually) and the "VFX" (Visual eFfeXts) lag the the game up like no tomorrow unless disabled.

Mild Recommend + Good Current Version of Arkanoid + Multiple Modes Many minor Quality of Life upgrades needed that would make the game SO much better... - Statistics - Like number of Wins, Losses, etc - Better Scoreboards - Need to be able to see your best score, friends - Collections - Needs an a Place for you to see what you are missing and how to obtain (skins, etc) - Need a timer on DOH so you know how much time you have - DOH is one mistake and a fail. Need at least some way to recover if you mess up. - No Saving in Retro Mode or Neo Mode. Such a minor thing, but its missing and badly needed
