Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 50.86/day in the week to Aug 25 → 92/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

FEATURES
ARK: Survival Ascended has completely recreated and redesigned the artwork and worlds of ARK to take advantage of the latest in videogame technology, Unreal Engine 5, using high-end graphics features such as fully dynamic Global Illumination (“Lumen”), so that light bounces realistically off of surfaces and provides realistic reflections, and advanced mesh streaming (“Nanite”) of hundreds of millions of triangles for extreme detail.
Advanced new physics systems such as dynamic water so that every creature creates waves, ripples, splashes, and bubbles as they move through fluids, and fully interactive physical foliage where every blade of grass, bush, and tree reacts to characters, explosions, projectiles, and physics objects. Knock down a tree, and see it crash into other trees and disturb all the foliage on its way down to smacking into the grass below! Detect an enemy moving sneakily through the grass as it shifts and sways in response to their presence. Demolish a building and watch the pieces break apart realistically, interacting with the grass and water as they fall.
ARK: Survival Ascended includes access to all of ARK’s worlds, including Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, ARK Genesis Part 1, ARK Genesis Part 2, and more. The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration and The Center are released now, Extinction will be released on December 16, with the subsequent expansion worlds to be added at no additional cost on a regular basis.
The definitive survival experience returns better than ever: design your Survivor, form a tribe, and tame, train, breed & ride dinosaurs within a living ecosystem. Watch your food, water, temperature, and weather patterns. Slowly expand outwards as you harvest, build structures, farm crops, customize your visual designs, and proceed to explore to uncover the true nature of The Island and the worlds beyond.
Thorough Quality of Life revamps in every area: redesigned User Interfaces, dynamic navigation for intelligent creature pathfinding, Wild Babies, Photo Mode, new Camera systems, new Map system, Tracking System, new Structures and Items, new Creatures, and much more.

STOP UPDATING EVERYTIME I OPEN THE GAME!!!
220Gigs + . Installed it. Go to play there is a update. Not enough space to update. Removed and reinstalled and it installed. 2 days later another update same thing. What the hell are we doing? You earned this negative review. Terrible.

They update the game every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day, making you redownload the ENTIRE game over and over. I spend about 2 or so hours hours every day updating the game in hopes to be able to play it the next day. But no. ANOTHER update. You are lucky if you get to play it once or twice a week (broken). Despite many other things going on with this game, its the most maddening thing ever about it to me.
This is just hot ass, 5gb update, 2hr wait, happens every day, impossable to play sometimes and just the most unoptomized piece of ♥♥♥♥ i have ever seen.
buns just buns
I've had a lot of fun with this game with over 2k hours in it, so this kinda stings to write. The way this game is updated/maintained is garbage. Every update breaks something. The latest Gen1 update was so jank it barely functioned. I play single player, but I've heard the servers aren't even accessible for online play. Gen1 was a lazy release where the studio seemed to focus more on the paid DLC than the actual map, which seems to be the direction they are heading nowadays. Want proof? Look no further than under the ocean where the floor is just a lazily placed world border. There have been many instances where I've lost weeks of work due to the game crashing after an update and me having to reload a previous backup. At this point, I can't in good faith recommend this game as the studio seems set on pushing new paid DLC rather than fixing the broken mess that is this game.
My review is negative because of the performance and the disk space mainly. I absolutely love the game since I play singleplayer by myself with mods, I'm also quite tolerant when it comes to playing at below 60fps so for me it isn't that horrible. What IS horrible though, is the fact that I have a 5070 ti and ryzen 7 9700X and I can't even get 60fps with dlss balanced and their medium preset in settings (I play 1440p), that in itself is mind boggling since I know not everyone has system as powerful as mine. Then there's also the fact that just by turning down the settings like that, your basically negating one of the reason to switch from ASE to ASA which is the visuals. The disk space needed is also horrible as it always has been with ark, just today I needed to update the game and it's taking hours because it's installing 230gb or at least going through that many files.
Review (EN) Not recommended. This isn't a game, it's a freshman lab project someone decided to sell at full price. It feels like 1-2 genuinely talented people came up with the concept, and the actual coding got handed off to students who opened a tutorial yesterday. QA apparently doesn't exist at this studio - or if it does, it's one guy who also doesn't do his job. Every single patch breaks the game. Every one. Updates drop every two days, and this isn't an exaggeration - literally every single one kills something. Zero exceptions, ever. After major patches, unofficial servers go down for days because mods fall apart. This isn't game development, it's an assembly line for bugs with a game attached as a side effect. Installing a patch is its own form of torture. The game with DLC is 400 GB. It just crashed mid-session while I was underwater. Relaunch it, and it downloads a 2 GB patch - sounds like nothing, right? Estimated install time: 4 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours. Just re-downloading the whole game is faster - one hour. But even an hour is enough for your character to drown and lose everything: the entire inventory, every tamed dinosaur, everything you built up - all because of a 2 GB patch that takes longer to install than the entire game takes to download. That's not a bug, that's a design decision that screams "we don't care." Optimization is a joke. RTX 4080, medium settings - 45 fps. Turn every graphics setting to zero - 60 fps. On a top-tier card. For comparison: Subnautica 2, same engine, runs fine on a GTX 1660 Ti and flies on ultra on a 4080 - and looks miles better while doing it. So it's not the engine's fault - it's whoever's hands bolted this game onto it. Good idea, murdered by execution. Playing this means voluntarily agreeing that your progress can go up in smoke at any moment because of the next broken patch. Don't buy it until the devs learn to test whatever it is they're shipping.
♥♥♥♥ game , ♥♥♥♥ devs , ♥♥♥♥ gm raptor , ♥♥♥♥ genesis 1 map i love ark but the developer team kill it! Everyone dupe hexa on gen 1 and devs dont care , they do 1 rollback and then stop do it because people lose chars so he forgot about people duping and destroying the game
