About
In ARC Raiders, gameplay flows between the surface ruled by lethal machines, and the vibrant underground society of Speranza. Craft, repair, and upgrade your gear in the safety of your own workshop, before venturing topside to scavenge the remnants of a devastated but beautiful world. Play solo or in parties up to three, navigating the constant threat of ARC's machines and the unpredictable choices of fellow survivors. In the end, only you decide what kind of Raider you are - and how far you’ll go to prevail.
Explore four distinct maps at launch, with more to be revealed as the underground society evolves and expands its reach. Each destination carries the weight of a world twice-destroyed, and the scars of conflicts both old and new. Sift through the remnants for valuable loot, and piece together the past as it's slowly reclaimed by nature. Evolving map conditions ensure that no two runs are the same, with varying weather, enemies, and mechanics adding unpredictability and danger.
In a society built on boldness and bravado, it is up to you to stake your claim as a Raider. The loot you scavenge can be sold for coin or crafted into all-new gear, allowing you take on increasingly lethal dangers head-on. Through both victories and hardships, you'll gain valuable experience; unlocking varied skills that enable all-new ways of play. In addition, you'll complete quests for Traders with differing motives and agendas; uncovering both the friction and comradery of a community under constant threat of collapse.
Lethal machines known as ARC rule the surface, ranging from unrelenting drone swarms to mechanical giants that obliterate everything in their path. Their origins remain a mystery, but their ever-present danger is felt with every step you take. Each machine comes with distinct strengths and tactics, forcing you to pinpoint their weak spots and constantly think on your feet. And remember: the noise of battle carries. Other Raiders may be listening; eager to claim what you leave behind.
Raiders survive by kitbashing scavenged materials; using long-lost tech and looted ARC parts to craft weapons, gadgets, and gear. Upgrade your workshop stations and learn blueprints to craft even more advanced items, or improvise quick fixes in the field to get yourself out of a bind. As you make a name for yourself, you'll be able to measure your skill against other Raiders by taking on Trials; rising through the leaderboards to earn valuable rewards.
In Speranza, everyone has an agenda, and the Traders are no different. They’ll send you topside on missions in exchange for rewards, slowly revealing more about who they are and what they want for Speranza’s future. Complete quests to earn gear, crafting materials, and XP to level up your Raider and unlock new skill points.
The ARC Raiders skill tree branches into three paths: Survival, Mobility, and Conditioning. Spend your points to shape your playstyle. Loot faster and move quieter with Survival skills. Outmaneuver your opponents and threats with Mobility. And enhance your Strength and Stamina with Conditioning. Choose how you grow and what your Raider brings to the battle.
Whether you’re preparing to take down specific ARC enemies or fend off rival Raiders, there's a choice of weaponry for every fight. Cater to your style with a range of firearms including SMGs, rifles and shotguns, as well as more advanced options such as railguns and energy weapons. Grenades, traps, ziplines and deployables offer the tactical depth needed to outsmart your enemies, while augments allow you to tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle; unlocking dedicated inventory slots and additional gameplay perks.

Its sad to see that the developers consider themselves too edgy to make a PVE mode. they consistently make updates to change things in the game to "improve matchmaking" and then push an update to change the rules a week later. the game is filled with hackers and cheaters that actively stream it and the game will just give you a "were sorry" after mass reporting everybody who shoots you because its so infested. Do better Embark. maybe when the developers graduate middle school they can make the game fun to play again.
game was great at the beginning, devs constantly making it worst by rewarding players who do not play the game and if you put the hours of grind you just end up feeling like idiot. Changing conditions 1 week before expeditions after you collected 3 mil, caping stash space and skill point for expedition. And for players who dont play lets make easy catch up, so whats the point of doing anything. At the beginning wait for match was less than 1 min with player count dropping and adjustments to matchmaking its sometimes 10 min for maps except dam battlegrounds and stella montis. The game was really fun at the beginning but now i do not recommend it. its a shame i thought ill be playing this game for years to come

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

no updates boring now
over hyped, under fun
This is a hard review for me. I am torn between Yes and No right now, and just have to go with no given my last experience. It is mainly cheaters and campers that take away from the enjoyment. I haven't seen it as bad as others, but when I do see it, it is pretty egregious. If it was just campers, I'd get over it. Extraction shooters are just always going to have people sitting by an exit for 20 minutes even if it means they get little to no GOOP. There is always going to be players hiding in a bush waiting to pop out. You just deal with it. However, you stack that with the frequency of pretty blatant cheating and it becomes less acceptable. With that said, even though I am currently thumbing Arc Raiders down, I do think the title is worth buying and playing through for a season or two. You'll have some tough games, you'll be a bit behind getting your gear up to speed and building your bank, but you will have a good time for a little while. There are still players out there that will talk to each other. While many will lie, deceive, betray, backstab, and double-cross, you can still find a good soul or two in a match. Someone who wants to help you kill that leaper, drop you some extra meds, help you crawl to extraction even though you attacked them first. You'll still find people trying to set up shop, get dance parties going, and keep some of what many enjoyed about the game alive. It is okay to kill on sight. It is okay to beg for mercy. It is okay to have fun. Arc Raiders still has a spark of joy in experiencing the chaos that is the top side. I'm just not feeling it anymore.
♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ banned me for nothing
to many crash
Honestly not sure what this matchmaking is about It punishes aggression so it tells you not to fight in order to stay in the pve lobby queue But then occasionally they just let (mostly cheating) pvp players into the pve lobbies to farm everyone You stay out of pvp maps and go in at daytime and still some random no life is just exfil camping
