About
In ARC Raiders, gameplay flows between the surface ruled by lethal machines, and the vibrant underground society of Speranza. Craft, repair, and upgrade your gear in the safety of your own workshop, before venturing topside to scavenge the remnants of a devastated but beautiful world. Play solo or in parties up to three, navigating the constant threat of ARC's machines and the unpredictable choices of fellow survivors. In the end, only you decide what kind of Raider you are - and how far you’ll go to prevail.
Explore four distinct maps at launch, with more to be revealed as the underground society evolves and expands its reach. Each destination carries the weight of a world twice-destroyed, and the scars of conflicts both old and new. Sift through the remnants for valuable loot, and piece together the past as it's slowly reclaimed by nature. Evolving map conditions ensure that no two runs are the same, with varying weather, enemies, and mechanics adding unpredictability and danger.
In a society built on boldness and bravado, it is up to you to stake your claim as a Raider. The loot you scavenge can be sold for coin or crafted into all-new gear, allowing you take on increasingly lethal dangers head-on. Through both victories and hardships, you'll gain valuable experience; unlocking varied skills that enable all-new ways of play. In addition, you'll complete quests for Traders with differing motives and agendas; uncovering both the friction and comradery of a community under constant threat of collapse.
Lethal machines known as ARC rule the surface, ranging from unrelenting drone swarms to mechanical giants that obliterate everything in their path. Their origins remain a mystery, but their ever-present danger is felt with every step you take. Each machine comes with distinct strengths and tactics, forcing you to pinpoint their weak spots and constantly think on your feet. And remember: the noise of battle carries. Other Raiders may be listening; eager to claim what you leave behind.
Raiders survive by kitbashing scavenged materials; using long-lost tech and looted ARC parts to craft weapons, gadgets, and gear. Upgrade your workshop stations and learn blueprints to craft even more advanced items, or improvise quick fixes in the field to get yourself out of a bind. As you make a name for yourself, you'll be able to measure your skill against other Raiders by taking on Trials; rising through the leaderboards to earn valuable rewards.
In Speranza, everyone has an agenda, and the Traders are no different. They’ll send you topside on missions in exchange for rewards, slowly revealing more about who they are and what they want for Speranza’s future. Complete quests to earn gear, crafting materials, and XP to level up your Raider and unlock new skill points.
The ARC Raiders skill tree branches into three paths: Survival, Mobility, and Conditioning. Spend your points to shape your playstyle. Loot faster and move quieter with Survival skills. Outmaneuver your opponents and threats with Mobility. And enhance your Strength and Stamina with Conditioning. Choose how you grow and what your Raider brings to the battle.
Whether you’re preparing to take down specific ARC enemies or fend off rival Raiders, there's a choice of weaponry for every fight. Cater to your style with a range of firearms including SMGs, rifles and shotguns, as well as more advanced options such as railguns and energy weapons. Grenades, traps, ziplines and deployables offer the tactical depth needed to outsmart your enemies, while augments allow you to tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle; unlocking dedicated inventory slots and additional gameplay perks.

Great game, bad match making. After taking a break from the initial launch period and testing the game, I was beginning to fall in love with it again. I've only ever been playing solo, and one of my first experiences was seeing 8-10 players standing around in the same location, I had assumed they were bots but they were just a pre-made in a solo lobby (they were just doing goofy things so I didn't mind). However my regular experience, especially on the loot events (storm, night raid, etc) is a pre-made group sniping each other to get into solo lobbies. Seems most of them are from console. I'm not an advocate for the whole PvE mode, I enjoy the vision Embark is going for here. However given the current player numbers it's too easy for a couple of mates to que snipe a lobby/map and go wild on solo lobby. The queues are already average 8 minutes for an OCE player with automatic server, I attempted to turn cross-play off but I couldn't get a match after 20minutes. I'd love for them to fix this issue and make my review a positive. There's too many maps/modes for the player base imo, if we could multiselect maps to band aid the matchmaking I'd love that. Or punish the bad actors.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Hackers/Dupe exploiters killing me every single game, the game is unplayable at this point.
Started off well, great looking world with interesting game mechanics but the constant uninvited PVP has ruined it. I put over 100 hours into this game and am leaving it with an overwhelming sense of frustration.
They have ruined this game. They are so naive that they catered to soft PVE players. All that is left now is PVP players and WAY too much ARC in the game. It's really sad that they only catered to the kids crying about getting killed by PVP players. The PVP players were the only thing keeping their game alive and they ruined it. Sad. What a shame
A fantastically crafted world with satisfying PvP and great PvE—yet all that massive potential has been completely lost. At launch, this game was something very special. The comunity was so nice and welcoming. It is tragic to see what it turned into. If you play 10 games, I'm telling you 8/10 games, you will die by a blatant cheater who is also probably toxic. If you look at their steam profile, you will either see that they have a brand new steam account or have been banned before. Streamers left because they were sniped by the same cheaters for months on end without the devs banning anyone manually. I don't know what they were smoking. The anticheat sucks so they just tone down the aimbot and don't get banned. I loved this game so much in the beginning, but as of currently I wouldn't recommend anyone to actually play it. I don't think this is going to get fixed any time soon, if at all.
Hurts my heart to leave a negative review but it really feels like the devs don't care about the game. If you love PVE you'll enjoy it and I say you'll get your money's worth but if you enjoy PVP the cheaters are out of control. It's genuinely discouraging to get on and give away my loot to hackers. I enjoyed the game and don't regret buying but I wouldn't pay $40 for the game in it's current condition hence the negative review.
This game was so fun during the first couple months, but if you wanna know how to completely drop the ball just follow what the developers did. Theyre great at it, the finals is the same way. Bunch of AI crap, Not listening to player base, not fixing any bugs. Just sitting back dropping skins for more money. Glad it died. They deserve it
PvE worked for Tarkov, I don't see how it can't work for this game.
played this game at it's peak and left when it was actively ruined by cheaters and solo discord groupers who go in as a team on solos to kill the whole. took a six month break and can confirm that they havent fixed a single thing concerning these problems, infact they are now more common then before just with longer wait time for between rounds. i give up once again and will be unistalling forever. a true shame
Still not easy reset character until level 20 but the games is fully loaded with cheaters ... updates are slowed down but game were sold solid .... but greedy Embark do not care now about their players ... Embark Game Over = Do not release Arc Raiders 2 ... because we know now ... how you respect players and community !
