About
Approximately Up is your best chance to experience spaceflight in whatever you and your crew (singleplayer or co-op multiplayer with up to 4 players) can bolt together! Build epic spaceships or barely flying trashcans — it’s entirely up to you. Control your creation from a first-person view right from the deck of your ship. Complete challenging objectives, hunt achievements, face the dangers of space, and collect new components to expand your current spacecraft — or build hundreds of new ones. One is never enough!
Everything begins with a single piece of frame and grows into a massive, complex ship built from thousands of components. Create automated systems, experiment with different input controllers, sensors, and meters — connect them to whatever you need, and let the magic (or chaos) happen! Once it looks ready (or not), hit launch and see what happens!

Experimental power sources that need to be delivered to a station on another planet — causing unexpected power outages mid-flight? Some strange energy crystal charging up like a ticking time bomb? Or maybe it’s just a massive, ridiculously heavy submarine this time? Can your spaceship handle that?

Is the planet covered in oceans? What’s hiding beneath that thick atmosphere? Can you see the surface through those massive clouds? Everything’s waiting for you to find out! Explore 15 unique planets, each with its own look, feel, and dynamic soundtrack that changes in real time as you explore and make new discoveries!

Who forgot to connect that cable? Who mounted the thruster backward? Who forgot the solar panels? Or the door-opening button? Is the radar working? How about the batteries? Enjoy the hilarious chaos in co-op multiplayer with up to 4 players — and find out once and for all... WHOSE FAULT WAS IT?!

You start on Earth and slowly explore a system of 15 planets, each with its own size, gravity, atmosphere, temperature, and challenges that make every world feel different. Most planets have one or more Planet Stations, which work as checkpoints and garages where you can build ships and start new missions. When you land on a station, it unlocks permanently and becomes a new place you can launch from. To reach these planets, you build your own modular spaceships and experiment with different parts - electric engines, fuel engines, mixed fuels, solar panels, heat-resistant frames, and more. By completing missions like delivering components between planets, you earn new ship parts that let you create better and more advanced designs. All flights are fully first-person from inside your craft, and because distances are huge, your ship design really matters - some trips will take only minutes, while others can turn into long journeys if your ship is weak. The whole game is about exploring planets, upgrading your ships, unlocking new stations, and trying to make it to your destination without crashing.

It’s like playing every janky space flight sim you’ve ever wanted to, with the joy of having your friends careen the ship into the side of a mountain. We only played for 3 hours last night but the freedom to build a ship exactly the wrong way and learn from your mistakes is scratching just the right part of my brain, forcing me to return to the launch pad and try again. It’s a 10, if you’re even on the fence just buy the darn thing and have some fun.
Very rarely do I write reviews. This is not one of those times. After playing for well in excess of 200 hours on the demo alone, my friend and I were EAGERLY awaiting the full release. With 0 disrespect, do not go into this game with expectations of a AAA title, it's janky and rough around the edges and that's by design which is what makes this game fantastic. Coming from other "build a spaceship and do engineering" games such as Stormworks, Space Engineers, Stationeer and countless others, this game ticks all the boxes I could have ever wanted. A passion project from a solo dev, and I mean SOLO - ONE MAN - this game is so much fun. All the reviews you see that are "I want X to be added, I wish Y was a thing" are actively being looked at, and thought about, and implemented by Lukas. He has such a fantastic energy and dedication to his player base that I have not seen really ever in a dev before. Jumping into our streams, trying to answer every question he can that appears on the discord (HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOINING IT) and just being one of the most down to earth developers I have ever interacted with, I wish him nothing but success for this game as well as his future in game development. This game isn't going to hold your hand, and it's not forgiving. TL:DR; game good. buy now. fly fast. hit planet. die hard. w dev.
Игра хорошая про космос поможет человеку побольше узнать о нём сделать свой корабль и отправится в путешествие все что нужно игра дает обучение и т.д. игра лучшая в сфере космоса и лучшая как игра
Its like KSP and Space Engineers had a Crack baby, for me its the right balance of keep trying till you get it and its super fun to learn how to improve my janky ship that looks like it came from a mad max film.
Alot of this itches my brain in the right way, things like space engineers feel lacking for the objectives where this gives you those and it by far helps with actually staying engaged, highly recommend it. The multiplayer works well and is stabkle even with intercontential gameplay. Though with the multiplayer it would be better if they included the ability to create multiple ships, but it's understandable with only one being existant in the world at the time.
