Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Plow, plant, water, and harvest as you build your ancient Egyptian farm from the ground up. Begin with nothing and unlock workshops, production buildings, and temples through your own hard work.
Ancient Farm Simulator is a hands-on farming simulator set in ancient Egypt. You start with empty land and basic tools, with no automation or shortcuts. Every field, building, and harvest is created by hand as you turn barren land into a working farm through planning, labor, and wise decisions.
Transform wild land into fertile fields, guiding your crops through every visible stage of growth. Water and fertilize at just the right moments to ensure a bountiful harvest. Wait too long, and your hard work will wither away. Here, farming rewards timing, strategy, and a proper understanding of the land. Pick up your tools and shape your destiny with your own hands.
Cultivate a wide variety of crops for food, crafting, and trade. Nurture fruit trees that demand patience but reward you with harvests season after season. Some plants, such as papyrus and sugar cane, thrive only by the water’s edge, challenging you to design your farm with care.
Tend herds of cows, sheep, pigs, and hens to supply your farm with food and valuable resources. Harness oxen to plow vast fields with greater speed. Collect materials, craft your own tools, and construct everything from humble barns to bustling workshops and kitchens. Unlock blueprints from traveling merchants to raise ever more impressive buildings, culminating in grand temples.
Turn raw harvests into valuable goods, prepare hearty meals, and trade your surplus to grow your farm piece by piece. Watch as your world transforms: fields flourish, new buildings rise, and your settlement comes alive under the Egyptian sun.

First things first. The game looks pretty neat and plays well. However, it perhaps needs some support from an Egyptologist or archaeologist. For example, coffee or corn did not exist in ancient Egypt. While coffee originates from Ethiopia, there is no evidence that it was cultivated in Egypt. Corn comes from Middle America (as far as I know, it was not known in Africa before the 16th century). Also, the furnishing looks more like how a modern Western person would arrange their furniture. It needs a little polishing, but it is on the right track.
Quality of live.

Ancient Farm, developed by A2 Softworks and published by Ultimate Games S.A., PlayWay S.A., and Ultimate Publishing, is a farming simulator that attempts to stand out by shifting the familiar formula into an ancient, Egyptian-inspired setting. Instead of the usual pastoral countryside or modern agricultural backdrop, it places players in a more arid, historically themed environment where survival, cultivation, and gradual expansion are the primary goals. This change in setting gives the game an immediate sense of novelty, even if many of its underlying systems remain rooted in traditional farming simulation design. The gameplay follows a familiar structure, beginning with limited resources and gradually expanding into a more complex operation. Players gather materials, plant crops, and construct buildings that support production and growth. Progression is steady and deliberate, with each new tool or structure opening up additional possibilities. The game emphasizes manual interaction, requiring players to actively perform most tasks rather than relying heavily on automation. This creates a more hands-on experience, where every step of development feels directly tied to the player’s effort. One of the defining aspects of Ancient Farm is its pacing. The game moves at a slow, unhurried rhythm, with very little pressure placed on the player. There are no strict deadlines or harsh penalties for inefficiency, allowing you to approach the experience at your own pace. This relaxed structure can be appealing for those looking for a calming, low-stress game. Seasonal changes introduce a mild layer of planning, but they are implemented in a forgiving way that supports the game’s overall sense of ease rather than adding significant challenge. Visually, the game presents a consistent and grounded interpretation of its setting. The landscapes are dominated by sandy tones, sparse vegetation, and simple architectural elements that evoke an ancient environment. While not highly detailed, the visuals are cohesive and contribute to the game’s atmosphere. There are moments where the contrast between the dry terrain and cultivated farmland creates a satisfying visual progression, reflecting the player’s impact on the world. However, the overall presentation remains fairly static, with limited environmental variation or dynamic changes over time. A notable limitation is the lack of liveliness within the world. The environment often feels empty, with minimal interaction beyond farming tasks and a small presence of animals. The absence of meaningful NPC interaction or a broader community element makes the setting feel isolated. While this simplicity aligns with the game’s calm tone, it also reduces immersion, as the world does not feel as responsive or evolving as it could be. The gameplay loop, while initially engaging, can become repetitive as the game progresses. Most activities revolve around a consistent cycle of planting, harvesting, crafting, and expanding, with few new mechanics introduced to break up this routine. Although this repetition is common in the genre, the game does not add enough variation or complexity to sustain long-term interest for all players. Progression eventually slows, and the sense of discovery that drives the early stages begins to fade. Audio design follows a similarly understated approach. Ambient sounds and simple music tracks support the experience without drawing attention, but they do little to enhance immersion or create memorable moments. Over time, the limited audio variety can contribute to the overall feeling of sameness, reinforcing the game’s static nature. Despite these shortcomings, Ancient Farm succeeds in delivering a straightforward and accessible farming experience. Its strength lies in its simplicity and clarity, making it easy to pick up and play without requiring a deep understanding of complex systems. The historical setting adds a layer of uniqueness, even if it is not fully integrated into the gameplay mechanics. In the end, Ancient Farm is a calm and focused simulation that offers a steady, low-pressure experience for players who enjoy routine-driven gameplay. It does not push the boundaries of the genre, and its limited variety may reduce its long-term appeal, but it provides a solid foundation for those seeking a relaxed farming simulator with a slightly different setting. Rating: 6/10
It seems half baked. Not for me.
Fajna ale za mało do roboty, 7 godzin i wszystkie osiągnięcia zrobione. zbyt szybka i liniowa rozgrywka za mało dodatkowych żeczy i misji do roboty
was interesting, keeps you busy, some of the crafting drags a bit
