Es divertido, me gusta ir descubriendo cosas mientras juego
Огромный потенциал, отвратительная реализация.
Really fun if you're into anthropology or even paleontology. This game made me really appreciate everyday things about being human such as eating fruit, standing upright, and social interaction. The way the game doesnt tell you anything was annoying at first but it makes it really rewarding to discover new things. The atmosphere, different environments, and enemies are well-done; realistic and immersive. However the weaknesses of this game can be collectively ascribed to the studio's inexperience. Late game is kind of weird because you finish the game by completing the skill tree; you dont even need to explore the full map. When i first started figuring things out, I unlocked a lot of skill tree nodes in a short time, then the generation/evolution mechanic struggled to keep up. After that initial rush of discovery, the rest of the game felt bland; and the environment paralleled that concept, but it does make sense for cover and resources to get more spread out as the game becomes more difficult. After a certain point, there was no meaningful reward for exploring more valuable than the experience of exploring itself. There were some mechanics that broke immersion, such as climbing hanging vines by grab, jump, repeat. You can fortify your base but as you progress through the map you'll need to move to a new one often. Overall this is a solid and memorable game and you should check it out if you like origin stories, nature, or biology. MONKE OOH OOH

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ancestors is honestly really good. If you wanna get into it, I recommend watching a video or two before starting. Game doesn't give you much to go off, but that's kinda the point. Gameplay mostly consists of you exploring, finding new locations, discovering new tools, other animals, etc. to earn "Evolution Feats", as well as mating to create offspring. Some offspring have genetic mutations, basically something they're really good at. Once they're older, you can jump forward via an Evolution Leap, skipping you forward in time based on how many Feats you completed. Game ends at about 2 million years before now, starting 10 million years ago. Hope the devs eventually create a sequel, after whatever their next project is.
nice game
Обезьяны А если серьёзно, для не торопливых сессий очень хорошо, изучайте, повторяйте одни и те же движения, умирайте от хищников, потому что боёвка тут ну сложна без прокаченной обезьяны

This game is incredibly fun and engaging. I love the challenging nature of it and the option for little to no help/GUI. However, there is one caveat. That would be the limitations. This game has a lot to explore, and quite a few things to figure out, and I have done them all in 12 hours. There is nothing more for me to do, and it gets incredibly repetitive after a while. It's truly a shame that they won't be continuing this game with a sequel, because I think I speak for everyone who enjoyed this game that I'd be on board.
