Reviews
I didn't like it as much as DUSK considering I haven't really played Heretic or Hexen but I did enjoy it for what it was worth.
A solid boomer shooter, a real litmus test for the average gamer. Do you like good shooters? Then you'll like this. The one thing this game has overs is its unique artstyle. Maps/enemies are varied and visually interesting, and the weapons are dripping in medieval style.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I felt very whelmed while playing this. Good game, but uninteresting. It feels like an ambitious mod for Quake, where the setting exists beyond the boomer shooter and it would work better outside of it.
Good game! Exceptionally pretty, fun levels. Do wish there was a bit more variety in encounters, and I was starting to peter off in the end though that's mostly just on me. Good game!
I know it's retro and all, but the graphics pretty much suck anyhow. Sound is okay. Got boring quick. Got to some snake beast and it was more annoying than anything even on easy. I guess I have to get gud, just not with this game. Play Doom. Retro? Play Quake 2
FANTASTIC PRESENTATION Some weapons and enemies can become a bit dull. For fans of the Genre 2/5
Eh, mixed but mainly positive. A fun game in the realm of Quake-Like, retro shooters, but I ultimately got kinda bored after a while. The weapons are all satisfying to use, personal faves are the Lightning Trident, that staff that shoots the shards, the sword is cool too. The game generally achieves what it wants to do quite well. On the other hand, I found it getting rather repetitive after a while. The levels are cool, but don't strike much variety for me, meanwhile the general gameplay loop doesn't change all that much from chapter to chapter. If you're ok with all that, then this game is great. Personally, however, while I'm generally a fan of Retro-Inspired shooters, this one just didn't land for me. The general quality and passion put into this game is more than enough to push it into positive (but mixed), so give it a shot if you want.
Love this game. It's like Quake if it fully embraced the medieval and magical aspects of Hexen/Heretic rather than the grungey and Lovecraftian side its mostly known for. No guns here; just axes, swords, staffs and magic (but just as gorey and brutal) - I've beaten 3 chapters so far and I have zero complaints. I'm kicking myself for not playing it until now. It's also very well optimized and can run at 144fps at max settings even on my potato of a gaming laptop.
Amazing game with great graphics, highly recommend.
Ill give it a half cautious recommend. Looks better than it actually plays, its very one note, but then again maybe that's the point.
