This game is absolutely amazing! Its super relaxing and very fun to play with infinite replayability. Also very cool to explore the various regions of the US and each state feels different in its own unique way. Every city has its own small and large details that make it unique and the driving in the game feels amazing. The environments and the roads make you feel like your in the area in real life and it feels breathtaking to see scenes like the grand canyon and the golden gate bridge. This is easily one of those games that everyone should play at least a few times in life.
all it does is crash or lock up
The game was very fun at the beginning but got boring pretty quickly. I believe the game really needs to decide what it wants to be - if a driving simulator, then improve the world and the driving mechanics. If it is meant to be 'build a trucking business' then substantially improve that portion of the game. Both areas are lacking right now with large areas of easy improvements.
downloaded this game to drive trucks 5 minutes later i’m taking a 900 mile delivery like it’s my actual job missed one exit and suddenly my delivery is 47 minutes longer AI traffic drives like they got their license yesterday also why am i driving for 3 hours and still in the same state ETS2 >>>> ATS 10/10 would still drive another 900 miles for absolutely no reason
Great game with amazing graphics and atmosphere. Driving through the US feels genuinely immersive, and SCS has done an excellent job capturing the feeling of American highways and small towns. My biggest problem is how long some features take to arrive after being announced. Road Trip was announced back in April 2025, and as of 2026 it's still in development with no release date. I understand that game development takes time, but announcing things this early makes it feel like we're waiting forever. I also really want to see a proper coast-to-coast experience - being able to drive continuously from the Pacific to the Atlantic without gaps in the map. At the current pace, that still seems to be several years away, probably around 2029–2031 if things go well. Still, ATS is one of those games where I can spend hours just driving and enjoying the atmosphere. I just wish SCS would get these long-awaited features and map expansions out a little faster.
Amei 10/10!!
Херня игра. Не советую покупать даже по максимальной скидке!
No fix old bugs dont like added road trip and car staff,no big trucking gameplay feature and so on this list!Dont waste money.
I bought a budget meal steering wheel (PXN V9 Gen 2) because I've been itching to play driving games, specifically truck driving, as when I was a kid, I remember playing 18 Wheels of Steel: Across America with my Logitech Momo steering wheel, and to my surprise, the devs of Wheels of Steel are the same devs of ATS & ETS2 and so I know this game is very good, and it is. I'm happy for them that their company is doing great work and is still thriving. I chose to play this ATS first, rather than ETS2, because I wanted to bring the nostalgic feeling of playing the American map just like in Wheels of Steel. But I'm also open to playing ETS2 to experience the European map once I'm done with ATS. All I can say is if you like truck driving on the American map, then this game is for you. Casual, relaxed driving, plus add the internet radio playing all 90s and 80s songs. For the best experience, I recommend playing with a steering wheel setup, additional bonus experience if you have your eye tracker/head tracker setup. As per the price and DLC, I like that devs are not greedy; in every Steam sale event, I always see they usually go about 60% to 75% off. DLCs go for 50% off, so if you are in a tight spot and budget and want to buy them all, just wait for the sale. DLCs might be overwhelming as there are a lot, but I understand that's how they keep the game alive and going. Again for best experience, buy all DLC maps. Also, a green flag for them for being open to Mods. To SCS Software, I'm happy for your success all these years. Thank you for the 18 Wheels of Steel: Across America, which became a core memory in my childhood. Wishing you guys more success on ATS and ETS2. I can highly recommend this game 100%
