i love it
Love this game it has so much potential & possibilitie the in depth hands on with the locomotives really bring the game to life . I truly hope the developer's return and compleate what they have started . They really don't know the jewl they have
Story: It is fairly straight forward, you buy good per say and transport them to places e.g. sawmills and make profit. Growing your company and basically making it better. The Graphics: For a unity built game, the graphics on the Locomotive looks great to me. Everything else looks good. Game play: This certainly is not a Triple a game. The initial guiding for the game is done in reading than in video, which I know is not always peoples Favourite way to learn in games. That to me could have certainly been improved on. While being in the locomotive, I felt it was a bit to fiddly had troubles getting into it. Accessing the controls also was a bit frustrating as I kept activating the direction level when wanting the break and same when using the regulator. Would have like to have had key options. Getting into position to see out the windows was a little annoying. Again a nice feature would have been click here to look out window. The turn table had me scratching my head, but it did work. Would have been nice to have an actual bit for the fire wood to go into as all I could do was toss it in the side and watch it jiggle its way out the train. Coupling for me never worked at all so I couldn't even get my first log cart. Positioning for the water tank could have been a little better with a different view. Now I had random derailments for what I could see was no reason. I come from a family where my father dealt with the rails and trains. I even pointed out to him saying can you see a reason why it would have derailed here? He couldn't. So I can only suppose it was down to the game. Since I could get passed the coupling issue, I couldn't really play the rest of the game to its fullest. Controls: For me the controls was ok. But certainly could have been really better. The Music: It was ok for a bit, but I then had to turn it off. The Replay Value: Sadly from what I could do and how the game is played there is not really a replay value as in start again. Bug/Glitches: Coupling issue random derailments, accessing the locomotive glitches. Overall: This had potential to be good. But sadly it got abandoned for Its Online brother/sister. I would have loved to have seen this get more attention as I am more a single player person and to see a game get what it deserves would have been nice. But from what I have seen and been able to do. it sits at 5 paws out of 10.
