O grande destaque é a escrita.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This isnt a visual novel. Its "Lets see how fast can turn normal person into a chaotic goth witch" simulator. My protagonist changed her hair, outfits, and moral compass three times in 25 minutes because couldnt stop picking the chaotic dialogue options. Every choice in this game is either: 1. Drink a cup of tea. 2. Completely alter your DNA, become chaotic shadow entity, and burn down the villages economy. There is no in between. Daphnes therapist is going to need therapist after this. Love it.

It's not a game with amazing gameplay or some huge world to explore. The main focus is really on the story, choices and characters, and that's where it works best. I really liked the feeling of actually having to make decisions and deal with the consequences. You're constantly choosing what to do, and even when a decision seems small, it can change what happens later. It makes you think a bit more about what kind of person you want your character to become. The art style is probably the thing that caught my attention the most. It's simple, but it gives the game a really nice atmosphere and makes it feel different from the usual visual novel or choice-based game. The story itself isn't going to change your life, but it has enough interesting moments, characters and twists to keep you going. It's also the kind of game that's pretty relaxing to play because you don't have to worry about complicated mechanics or difficult combat. It's definitely not for everyone, especially if you need a lot of gameplay, but if you like story-driven games where your choices actually matter, I think Along the Edge is worth trying. Not a masterpiece, but a surprisingly enjoyable experience.
This was my first time playing a visual novel, and I enjoyed it more than I expected. The story is well written and draws you in like a good TV show, with enough creepy moments to keep things interesting, especially if you enjoy light horror elements. The visuals and soundtrack complement the atmosphere really well, and the characters are nicely integrated into the story. Considering it's a low-budget game, I really can't think of any major negatives. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Overall: 6.5/10.
