About

Aloft is a feel-good, cozy survival game set in the clouds, where you can transform any island into a flying ship and explore the vast skies.
Navigate the world, discover new islands, gather resources, build your dream home, and take care of your animals, solo or as a group of up to 8 friends.
Yet within nature’s beauty, a corruption spreads. Root it out and cure the fungi threat that devours all other life. Uncover lost knowledge, brew powerful antidotes, enrich the biodiversity of the islands, and restore balance to the airborne ecosystem.

Aloft’s feel-good survival is more about rewarding positive action than punishing mistakes.
The sky provides everything you need; cook up delicious meals for buffs, gather resources to craft tools, and explore to find new technology. Soar the open sky freely and discover ancient ruins to uncover the secrets of the past.

Soar the open skies in a vast sandbox world and turn any island into your personal skyship.
Build and customize it into your personal home. With a helm, rudder, and sails constructed, you are ready to sail the winds and explore the skies. You are the captain of your adventure!

The wind is an ever-present ally in Aloft.
Install windmills and a network of cables and pulleys to automate your machines and production. Fly into strong winds to supercharge your crafting power and sailing speed, but make sure your sails can handle it.

Each island is its own living ecosystem, vulnerable to unsustainable gathering and the fungi corruption.
Find and cure islands from corruption by defeating the mushroom creatures in combat. Craft antidotes to save animals and restore islands to a state of harmony. By restoring their biodiversity, you gain access to new special resources, and make them more resistant to the corruption.

Collect seeds and animals on your travels and bring them to your home island.
Plant various crops in your garden to cook up delicious recipes, and care for the cuddliest of animals to gain rare resources. Form a true bond by meeting all their needs, and they will even protect you.

Creativity lies at the heart of Aloft, which can be enjoyed as a peaceful solo experience or with up to 7 other players.
Bring your entire island base when you join another player’s world, and create a small village of sky explorers. Use the in-game island creator to design anything you can imagine, then share it with the community to populate their worlds.
Craft the island of your dreams, challenge the corruption, restore balance, and express your creativity in the limitless skies of Aloft.
See you in the clouds!

We played the game a while ago, but took a break until recently. The most recent large patch, Bloom and Blight, added SO MUCH awesome stuff and really renewed the game in an awesome way
Kiva idea pelissä
Probably this friday i will finish the game, so its review time. For a early acces game ita a fine game, especially in the beginning everything feels new and islands feel eventfull. Sadly somewhere in the second biome we had the entire knowledge tree done. exploring for knowledge points and atlas feels at this point not worth your time. The corruption mechanicism feel ehh but understandable. I am not a big pvper and still have zero idea about the special attacks. For me it would have been a lot more fun if you had the ethical dillema of each island being able to pollute (for rescoures) or for example clean them and keep them clean for a better endscore. If the game had such chooses it would feel less of a constant repeat. I also would like to see more what things do with the player. I once more think this game has potentional but at the moment its a 5.8/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Enjoyable game, i liked the crafting system even if i feel like it got confusing at times.
It's a really good game
I hardly review early access games but this game looks like it's gonna have a successful launch and a good chunk of content. There are stuff that need to be polished but the game runs fine (this is on my 3 year old 3060 laptop as you can see), the exploration and base building are nice, and I generally like the puzzles and very chill combat. Remember this is a base building and exploration-survival game, not combat-oriented. There is the multiplayer feature and I'd imagine it should be a perfect game to play with friends, but I didn't try so can't say whether that part it optimized or not. They stopped supporting save files on old versions twice during development (once everything and once the world progression), understandable but I recommend waiting for the (likely soon) 1.0 launch.
I truly like that you can take your base with you. And not just take it with you, but pick the island it resides on. It'd be fabulous if the animals stayed in their pens though. finding them out on a wing or rudder is very inconviant quq
I recommend only because it's take on open world survival crafts takes a different approach.......however the tech lock out is very frustrating. You earn points by finding knowledge stones to spend into the tech tree or having to find a hidden fresco then lack the Insight to progress to the next tier and use them, There are plenty of mini games in crafting and puzzle solving.... if you like that. The game also is in Early access so some of the frustration "might" be changed. I do not recommend if you are new to challenge of survival craft. Either way I play a few hours every so often to try to progress. I'm treating this one as a super casual game
This game has a little bit of a slow start, but holy moly if you can make it out of the intro stuff this game expands into a vast and beautiful world. The base building is expansive, satisfying and cozy and instead of constantly having to travel back to your base, you bring it with you! The exploration makes me feel so excited to see all the cool new places and stories. Looting, upgrading, farming, it's all done in a way that sucks me into hours of playing. I think this game is awesome and beautiful and so much fun. I can't wait for full release so I can play it all over again.
