About
Allumeria takes a classic voxel sandbox and combines it with in-depth progression through exploration, dungeon crawling and boss battles. You will constantly be discovering new weapons, abilities, resources, enemies, structures, mechanics and tools. The game has a strong focus on discovery and creative freedom.
Allumeria provides advanced building tools not present in other games. You can change the shape of any block on the fly. Want glass stairs? Want a dirt fence? You can do it! Allumeria has a full RGB light engine. Create dimly lit cozy cabins, or bright neon cities. Monsters only spawn on natural blocks, so you are free to experiment with dark and light! The Paint Roller allows you to paint ANY block in the game, with no limitations. Want to use bricks, but grey isn't your style? Just paint them blue! Multiple palettes are available, from colourful, to earthy, to pastel.
Allumeria focuses on providing an in-depth experience for every biome. Your story starts in the forest biome, and you will travel to other biomes in a quest to become more powerful. Each biome has brand new resources, enemies, mechanics, dungeons and bosses, top to bottom. A single biome represents an entire new chapter of your story, not just a new grass colour.
Allumeria has a simple but diverse combat system. As you progress, more abilities and weapons open up. Start with simple swords and crossbows, then expand your arsenal with explosive bombs, shock arrows, fart guns, snowball cannons, boomerangs, shuriken launchers, frying pans, baguettes, and a myriad of other wacky items. You will uncover equippable trinkets that expand your movement abilities, allowing you to sprint, granting regeneration, gliding, flying, jumping and climbing.
Allumeria is an Early Access game. This means the game is going to continue being updated with new content and fixes to improve it even more, with community feedback in mind. The game has already been shaped by many peoples ideas, suggestions and bug reports, and it will continue to improve with your help. The game is already packed full of content, but there is so, so much room to grow.

whimsy...
i haven't had much time to play the early access build but i have had a lot of time to play the demo (6+ hours) and i am confident in saying that this game has a great future ahead of it. i love the creative tools that this game has such as block shaping, block painting, as well as lighting you can change the color of. i can turn any block into any shape so now i'm not waiting on wool slabs and stairs or hoping that they add dirt fences. i trust there to be even more than that when i play more. i love the survival so far and it feels like a faithful transition of terraria to 3D with accessories that can change your abilities (i have sprinting shoes, a glider and increases in jump height) and a variety of weapons which i like. i haven't had the opportunity to fight them but bosses are also present already, as well as NPCs. 100% recommend.

Great baseline for a game. 1. The building mechanics are the best I've seen in this genre. 2. The visuals are satisfying to look at, the UI feels good. 3. It seems to be more Terraria than Minecraft. 4. No survival mechanics, so hunger is not a thing. No durability either. However, I do have a few small gripes that I imagine will be fixed or improved on. This is all based on biome 1, which I'm at the tail end of. 1. Loot is just...loot. There's no stats. Personally, I'd like this game to lean more into Terraria style stats. It'd make loot a lot more exciting and nuanced. There's no durability, so what you get is what you get. I'd like variety in the loot that drops :) 2. Basic enemies don't seem to have drop tables? I haven't noticed zombies/mages/skeletons dropping anything weapon or armor wise at least. This goes back to point 1, if this game wants to be more on the Terraria/RPG side it'd be neat to have more nuanced systems. 3. No map. I'm okay with torching up the map to know where I've been but I'd like some form or map...or even a compass. Maybe there is one and I've not found it after 4 hours? 4. Enemies are a bit samey. Big dudes who run at you or mages. There's a small flying mob that's not a threat..but very annoying. It's a bit annoying trying to mine or build sometimes. 5. No experience system. I feel like I'd love to see a game like this have some form of experience or enchantment system akin to Minecraft. Make it more an RPG like terraria but also add the most 'rpg like' mechanic from minecraft. That'd be sick. 6. No magic. Dev confirmed they'd like to add it. Overall this game gives me the same vibe early Terraria did back when I played it as a free download prior to it being on Steam. What's here is AMAZING and if built on properly this can became a fantastic game.
I've played this game for a while, more than it says on my profile, since the game was in it's infancy. I can confidently say, that out of all the block games I've played, this is my absolute favorite. Go play it, ask no questions. Full Review: https://youtu.be/ESFsbHIb-xk
This is a great game, I am looking forward to see what the future brings. The trinkets make exploration wonderful and the monsters are really fun looking. The crafting system is good with excellent variety. Fishing is a big thing for me in any game and this one delivered!!! fun mini game, different types of fish with their weight!!! 100/100 A wonderful game. Well worth the purchase.
good
This game has no right to be this good. I mean, what the ****?! One man project, started in 2025, and somehow packed full of content, all for only 8 Euros 99 cents?! Minecraft cost more when it had, like, less than even 20 blocks or something - and that was over a decade ago! I didn't even 'pay' for the game per se, having had the spare change from selling Steam trading cards, that's how cheap it is. Plus the 20% sale for release is such a bro move. I mean, what other dev discounts their game on release day? But yeah, it's awesome and really is impressive in just how well made it is. Like, the mineshafts actually go somewhere! And for quite a distance, too! They branch off even, like, properly! Just goes to show having an unlimited budget doesn't mean higher quality... Anyhow. As someone who was never able to get into Terraria cause of the 2D aspect (I personally just don't vibe with it, no shade) this game REALLY scratches that itch. There are tons of unique items, mobs, and seemingly much more to the game (judging by the screenshots) that I have yet to see. The building is great too. I mean, I won't get into details, but damn, so many options and so many special items really add flare to a build. The system for half-heights, stars, slabs, etc. is just ingenious. You have to try it to see it, but I think any Minecraft player will really be able to appreciate it. Plus, the game is just straight up beautiful. Granted, the aesthetic takes some getting used to at the start, but that is genuinely no hindrance, and you quickly learn to love it. I thought I wouldn't be a fan myself at first. The lighting, too, is beautiful and varied with multicolor light sources that just look sick, even when you're using regular torches. I've only played for about 2 hours, but it's already proven itself to me. This game is absolutely worth the price, hands down, no questions asked. My ONLY desire for it that I *really* hope the dev will eventually pull through on is - though I admittedly don't know if it combines with his ultimate vision - unlimited world gen, or, alternatively, FAR larger maps. Currently, the game is limited to 1024x1024. It's not much, and you feel it when you first wander off from spawn. I know it's not Minecraft, and that might not be the vision, but I really would like a bigger map. More geographic features like seas would be possible, and would add to the creative building variety and really spice up that aspect of the game. Unlimited worlds would be really special, but even maps at 10-100x the size would probably be fine. I just feel a little claustrophobic at its current scale. As for performance, my specs are attached to the review, but in plaintext: i7-12700k with DDR5 32GB and an RTX 4080S. The game at max settings and 1440p ran around 110-120 FPS for me, and I assume most people will get very reasonable performance on lower end hardware as well. I will test the game on my RTX 3060M / Ryzen 5 / 32GB laptop and report back if it runs poorly, otherwise assume it's good there, too!
