About
Allumeria takes a classic voxel sandbox and combines it with in-depth progression through exploration, dungeon crawling and boss battles. You will constantly be discovering new weapons, abilities, resources, enemies, structures, mechanics and tools. The game has a strong focus on discovery and creative freedom.
Allumeria provides advanced building tools not present in other games. You can change the shape of any block on the fly. Want glass stairs? Want a dirt fence? You can do it! Allumeria has a full RGB light engine. Create dimly lit cozy cabins, or bright neon cities. Monsters only spawn on natural blocks, so you are free to experiment with dark and light! The Paint Roller allows you to paint ANY block in the game, with no limitations. Want to use bricks, but grey isn't your style? Just paint them blue! Multiple palettes are available, from colourful, to earthy, to pastel.
Allumeria focuses on providing an in-depth experience for every biome. Your story starts in the forest biome, and you will travel to other biomes in a quest to become more powerful. Each biome has brand new resources, enemies, mechanics, dungeons and bosses, top to bottom. A single biome represents an entire new chapter of your story, not just a new grass colour.
Allumeria has a simple but diverse combat system. As you progress, more abilities and weapons open up. Start with simple swords and crossbows, then expand your arsenal with explosive bombs, shock arrows, fart guns, snowball cannons, boomerangs, shuriken launchers, frying pans, baguettes, and a myriad of other wacky items. You will uncover equippable trinkets that expand your movement abilities, allowing you to sprint, granting regeneration, gliding, flying, jumping and climbing.
Allumeria is an Early Access game. This means the game is going to continue being updated with new content and fixes to improve it even more, with community feedback in mind. The game has already been shaped by many peoples ideas, suggestions and bug reports, and it will continue to improve with your help. The game is already packed full of content, but there is so, so much room to grow.

TLDR; It's like scrolling on social media, dopamine after dopamine hit without putting in any effort. Like junk food. I'm reviewing this game for it's current content and not the potential that it has. I also won't be talking about non game breaking bugs. I enjoyed my time playing the game, it doesn't do anything drastically different or perfect, but for a game that's more than 10% of Minecraft's price (regional pricing for me) it's pretty good. - Progression wasn't better, if anything it just felt REALLY BORING but still okay. - There's more variety with the weapons, but you still pick up the newest one so it doesn't matter that much. - NPC Housing exists, but unlike Terraria it's not a requirement nor drastically beneficial to the player. - Building feels better because of the shape tool thing, if you're interested in that. - Mining feels like post cave update Minecraft without big caves (I prefer big caves but it's fine). - Boss Variety is very good, there should be more of that. My main problem with this game though is that it didn't give me any reason to play more of it. Like it wants me to be done with it as fast as possible. - Furnace smelting is instant, which feels nice the first time but it also removes the necessity to build a space for this purpose. - Same with the inventory system. It felt nice that it stacks up to 512, but there wasn't any urgency to get home and store all of this junk let alone make one in the first place. - Changing equipment (armor, weapons and tools) is so easy and frictionless. No suffix to think about, no enchantments to grind for, no resources to mine for. Just change up and get out. - Even dying only makes you wait for a bit then you're good to go again, no punishment at all (at least from what I can tell) If you want a challenge, get out of here and play something else (Minecraft is more challenging than this, and that game isn't even hard). But if you're a working dad with 2 hours a week to spare (I'm not one), then it'll probably be a better fit for you than me. Of course, it might change as it gets updated but for now I don't recommend it.

Not bad, but it's just getting started. Needs a bit of polish and some more things to get into and work towards.
overall its a good game but there are changes i think that should be made and id love to see content updates in the future to keep people interested. (spoilers below) (i have not played the full game so i may have not seen everything) Pros -a good blend of terraria and minecraft -interesting structures -interesting boss fights -some unique building elements -its fun to learn everything again after playing games like minecraft and terraria for so long cons -world ends at a flat border -combat is a bit boring so far -some things feel a bit to flat changes that could be made -have the world wrap around on itself to make it feel like a planet or have it be an island in a big ocean -give blocks some sort of depth so everything doesnt feel so flat -add more 3d models for all items since theres a mix of 2d and 3d items -rework combat -lots of content updates (idk if any are planned yet but id love to see some)
Very nice game, quite a few bugs but all are seemingly fixable i've been playing it with a friend for like 10 hours and it has a greate progression system
Only Nitpicks:
add corner stairs, make it easier to know what to do after gold pickaxe, macos support at some point, server software, non hosts being able to use npc housing block, remove minecarts until you guys fix them.
IF you like Minecraft, you should try out this game
