About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

fun game need more dlc
need a update bad cant play with friends keep lagging out but its a good game for the most part
This game is plagued by game breaking bugs, server issues and rampant performance problems on launch day. Its another game that might get better after a few months? But I doubt many people will be playing it for that long, just like the first one. The tutorial for this game is far too long, it lasts nearly the first 3 chapters as each mission unlocks a new way to upgrade and then spoon feeds you instructions on how to do it. The game doesn't hand out nearly enough currency to get meaningful upgrades early on. Cosmetics are. . . a mess. Mainly the deluxe edition skins. They dont fit the world and look like something belonging to mad max. All around, this game is gonna be dead in 2 months and its probably not worth the 40$

Stuttering, same missions like in first game (go, press, kill horde for 3mins - rinse and repeat) no variety. and asking 50e for that while I can get Helldivers 2 for cheaper is mad. At the moment 3k players are playing this game on steam so it will prolly die in a month.
Ignore the negative reviews its basically exactly the same as the first game so if u liked there previous title I'm sure u will like this, I will say they should have removed the prologue as it was pretty ♥♥♥♥ and I think a lot of negative reviews stem from that because once I put a few hours into the game it just got better as time went on, is it perfect no but its still a lot of fun
Besides a few bugs the game is running great for me and I have had a fantastic time playing. My only real complaints at the moment is that you are only able to put decals on he front of your torso. Also the "Story", dialogue and ending are very poor and frankly annoying. I would have preferred that these things were cut or reduced and the money and time spent elsewhere.
If you liked Aliens Fireteam Elite, you'll like this one. Its more of the same but with better AI in both your bot team mates and the enemies. Some of the voice acting isn't great, but the gameplay during the missions is where these games shine.
More enemies, fewer weapon choices than in the first Fireteam Elite. It's a good shooter — the enemies in the game are more unpredictable. I've only beaten the game on Standard, and I'm not sure how anyone can play at a higher difficulty, because when all the aliens come out, friendly fire is bound to happen due to the awful reload and weapon swap speed. Still, it's a fun and challenging game. While playing, I've gotten stuck in two bugs: one where the red Xeno jumped on me during a boss fight and my character got stuck walking tilted until I was hit again, and another where I got locked behind a door while my teammates were being attacked, which caused one of them to get on the mic thinking I was hiding from the fight — annoying, since I was actually stuck in a glitch. Overall, I'll give this game a 3 out of 5. The first game has more classes and more guns to choose from, but this one is a lot of fun to play when it works right.
It's not amazing, but i'm having fun.
gameplay is a major update since the last game enemies are not as tanky but can still be threating even on standard. 4 man teams revamped classes and after you level the others a class to combine them all. campaign length was 8 hours on standard but the writing isn't great and can largely be ignored. im mainly here to shoot bugs and the holdouts and mobile objs allowed for a ton of it. enemy variety is better than last game adding a ton more adds and others to spice it up as its own game. the challenge cards stack making each mission a different way to play based off what others bring adding alot of variety in matches. i barely dropped any frames (i played on high settings) except for the most intense fights even then it wasn't to big about a 5-10 drop. no crashes for my entire playtime so far. this is more than i can say for most new releases nowadays. overall a good 7/10 gameplay and character building carry the game vs the dialog. a fantastic addition to the CO-OP shooters list in my library.
