About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
Janky, repetitive, bad cutscenes, poor animations, poor readability, reused levels, short campaign, uninteresting characters, and just plain boring. Avoid this game at all costs for now, there are a lot of things that need to be fixed before I'd ever recommend this game to anyone. Finished the campaign, uninstalled. Regret being excited for this one.
Bellissimo gioco 👍🏻 se ti è piaciuto il primo vai tranquillo e personalmente mi gira benissimo

They shouldnt have kept the original approach. really disappointed. Other than sound effects and a few memorable decal comments/quotes I am not feelin it. It feels limited. like frozen yogurt....its ok.
Better than the first game in the ways it matters and yeah has some rough edges with regards bugs and some stuttering. I do agree with the sentiment they could cut out all the dialog and just give us text and saved a bunch of money. Not to say the story isnt interesting just awkwardly executed. The gameplay is excellent though.
A couple things with this game and lets start with the pros then the cons. The game has great visuals, the lighting textures and look are great, has a great music for what's happening on screen I.e. fighting track when the bugs come and more suspenseful when in-between fights. The guns from what I've seen are fun to use and has the same customizations as the first game had. The multiplayer is good and it seems p2p so as long as yall have decent internet then you'll be good. Now for the bad, I'll start with the npc characters, they are more annoying than charming and the dialog interactions make them look more akin to wax figures with faces and close enough mouth movement. The cutscenes focusing on npcs are janky and look like those interactive ads at theme parks. The Animation for characters as a whole need a polish for example the emote to point has your character extend their hand and point but instead of pointing your hand stays in whatever way it was holding the gun. All in all the gameplay is good the story characters aren't. if you and your buddies are committed to playing this game its great with friends otherwise I'd wait till they polish and shine the game and or wait for it to go on sale.
Would recommend. 10/10. Weyland-Yutani did not pay me to say this. If you're an Aliens fan, you're probably going to have a great time with this. The shooting feels really good, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about unloading an entire magazine into a Xenomorph, setting it on fire and watching it realise it has made some poor life choices. There are heaps of different enemy types, and they all have different strengths and weaknesses, so you can't just mindlessly shoot everything and hope for the best. Well... you CAN, but eventually the game will remind you that you're not the main character. It's great fun in Co-op and now you can play in 4 player squads. Plus, past difficulty 2 there's friendly fire, So if you have that one friend who keeps running in the way... just keep holding the trigger and let karma do its thing. But solo players aren't left behind. You get an AI squad to follow you around, which is great because apparently finding two or three friends who are available at the same time is harder than fighting a hive of Xenomorphs. There’s also a great variety of weapons and classes, and the amount of perks available for build crafting is honestly ridiculous in the best way. You can spend ages tweaking your load-out and making builds that suit how you want to play. And with the addition of the specialist class, you can take ANY perks and weapons you've unlocked from all of the other classes and combine them to make an absolute disaster of a character or a god among men, dealers choice. The campaign is a good length (15 Missions), and once you've finished that, you unlock a Horde mode that gives you another excuse to throw yourself into a room full of angry aliens and ask, “How bad could this possibly get?” Very good game, especially if you're an Aliens fan. Grab some friends, grab some guns, and go make some Xenomorphs regret crawling out of the walls. 10/10. Would shoot aliens again.
Not worth the price. Guns and movement feel floaty, boring NPCs, boring missions, and worst of all, the pulse gun sounds terrible.
Game's awesome, except I need to type launch codes in my Linux terminal every time I install it because of the Cutscenes.
I'm enjoying the game. I love the setting, the gameplay is fun, I like shooting xenomorphs. Smart gun, yayyyyyy. But oh my god the unskippable conversations with the support characters are awful. Especially the dropship pilot. Every time I'm clicking randomly through the conversations (it gives you 'options' of things to say, but nothing is going to affect the narrative so why bother) all I can think of is how that money could have been better spent in smoothing out the jankier aspects of the game. They could have easily communicated the story elements from these conversations in a short briefing voice over spoken over the loading screen as the mission is launching. Like "listen up, marine!" and then said whatever info the characters scattered around were going to tell you. It would also avoid the whole 'your marine is this big hotshot marine' type situation, rather than the game being about a SQUAD of marines---which is what it is. Like it's kind of ridiculous how all the NPCs treat you like you're out there soloing this whole campaign. If you're going to make a L4D or Darktide type game, you don't NEED tons of character interaction. More voices for the marines would have been nice, and also would have been fun to have banter between the marines like how L4D or Darktide does it. To be clear, I'm not saying the game HAS to be L4D or Darktide but it's already basically that style of game... and the game isn't really suited for dialogue windows and stuff---that just slows down the action and keeps me from shooting more bugs.
