About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
Like the first one but better simple as that. As for the review bombing seems to be a bunch of negative jackasses, its not everything I have ever wanted in a game ever so I hate it types. Also people who don't understand the pricing you don't HAVE to buy the DLC the base game does not require it so saying its $70 is a bald face lie just FYI.
Every aspect is a downgrade from the first. I am not sure if daybreak made them push it out the door but the first game was a hidden gem. This feels like an insult to it and a cheap copy of it.

一团糟,就算价格下来的也不推荐,感觉和第一部没什么区别。。。很无聊的游戏!

Hey, hot shot. I like your game, hot shot. But I do think there's some problem with it, hot shot. Notably, hot shot, the fact that you see, hot shot, there's no way to skip the cut scenes you've made, hot shot. These cutscenes not only at about 20fps, but also just add annoyance after you've done the same mission 10 times. So, hot shot, I'd definitely add that. Apart from that, hot shot. Can we stop getting called 'hot shot' every 2 seconds? Otherwise good game so far. Thanks, Hot shot.
Don't be looking for some epic story telling, it is a horde shooter on the tin. If you enjoyed the first one then you will enjoy this one.
There's a good game here underneath the bugs somewhere but the bugs are frequently game breaking. Missions get stuck and won't progress, players fall outside of the map boundary, frequent crashing, really bad stuttering on Windows. As a side note, I did try playing the game on steam os and cachy os and the performance was much better than on windows. The stuttering wasn't nearly as bad and the crashing wasn't as frequent. The game is fun and I will change my review when they fix the game breaking bugs that prevent mission completion.
Game causes cpu to rise to max temp slowly over time and then crash. cant even play
If you're an Alien fan, this game is a must buy. Remember that it's a Double A title but comes with plenty of improvements from the first. The storyline is just as good from its predecessor, you actually get to fight the Queen this time, but note that the NPC voice acting/dialogue choices are awful. You will not miss anything by skipping the NPC dialogue at the main hub. They kind of treat you like a dumb grunt kid, even after you've wiped out 5,000 aliens and their queen. There's 15 missions total and 3 horde mode levels, each mission probably taking 20-45 minutes depending on your difficulty. Plenty of accessibility options for the HUD and FOV, and the shadows/lighting/animation quality looks much better in the sequel on their Unreal Engine 4.26 or whatever it is. This is not Unreal Engine 5, but still looks really damn good. A lot of players think the only cosmetic/gun/skill unlocks are in the in-game market. Not true. Each class has a level system, then your character has a separate level system. Each time you level one or the other, you're either getting a new gun or armor set, some other goodies. Solid progression rewards. A lot of the unlockables are hidden behind level unlocks, you can scope this out in the Collections section. No microtransactions (other than DLC). Everything is unlocked by playing and earning in-game creds. They've allowed custom armor decal assignment for your chest piece which can be fun. You can decorate it with funny/badass decal stamps that can be resized and manually placed. They also put in recoloring of your armor with different paints, can mix and match helmet/torso/pants. You need to play through until you get into the endgame. Once you start entering Intense difficulty and higher, you have to start relying on class diversification and taking each encounter much slower. This is where it gets insanely fun and definitely challenging. Customization is through the roof. Way more camos, emotes, armor sets, gun selection, attachments from the first. Class skill mods have expanded and they have introduced endgame skill mods/gun augments that allow you to finetune your preferred playstyle. The different level aesthetics are awesome and they have included the Pathogen aliens in the base game instead of requiring DLC from the first game. Sure, a bit clunky with some light bugs on launch, that'll be tidied up in the near future. This is a classic horror horde shooter and will eat hundreds of hours of playtime. Like I said, if you're an Alien fan, you'll have a blast regardless of any negative feedback you see scrolling through the reviews.
