About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Solid core gameplay with some bugs that hold it back from being great. Pros -The guns all feel and function differently and they all have a place in the game. -The perk systems are outstanding. -More variance in encounter types and enemies that will trickle in from other areas to keep the gameplay chaotic. -Normal difficulty has no friendly fire. Friendly fire was a bit too much for people on normal in A:FTE. Cons -This is game is based on the design of the first game, so how is this game laggier, stutterier, and glitchier than the previous game. What happened? -The menus are insanely laggy -They added all these fun weapons to play with and then this game is roughly the same size as first game. -Some of the weapon mod and perk tooltips aren't descript enough or need formalized wordings. -The basic mobs are very spongy in comparison to the first game. L4D to L4D2 has a similar density increase to the base mobs.
I'm recommending this solely because I like the genre. I supported the game despite the mixed reviews just because I want to see more games like this. With that said, If you liked the first game, you will like this game. You will have to look past some of the cringy campaign dialogue/characters. When I turned off cross-play, I was typically unable to find a party even just a few days after launch. This doesn't feel like an evolution of the first game, just same-old. Re-use of campaign levels just from other directions was not ideal either.

Hudson you secure that s***T, so far as an Alien fan this game scratch that itch if you played the first one this one is an improvement more missions, and horde mode, plenty of weapons and abilities, classes that evolve and improve from the first game and a new class make your own custom marine to use, weapons Augments could do with a rework alot of them are not great to use alot of negative stats to trade off for one positive which make it not worth using the game Aesthetics and Art is really capture the Alien vibe, new enemies added are great too. now with the story however the weird dialog and npc debriefing and random talking is really bad they supposed to be the state of the Badass ART in this they like rainbow people Ko, raptor and Piper how these jokers got into the colonial marines is beyond me let alone survived an infestation lol, with the in game interactions and the amount of repeated dialog yes looking At you sharps stick get real annoying if you wanted this should of added way more dialogs or an option to shut them up. However Wrench was okay i learned alot of bird facts from him so worth talking to him each time he has something new bird facts lol Performance the game plays stable for me on a 3080Ti, Ryzen 9, 48GB ram and Nvme so i have no issues other then alot of perks and stats increase dont work unless you are hosting, and some players get stuck behind a door and a Preatorian spawn in there with them lol. if you plan to play with friends its the best and you get your moneys worth. game still runs on unreal 4 engine though. since me and few friends enjoy this together and i beaten all content on all difficult setting this game has to offer with some items still left to get but not really need it as i have the items i need and i consider the best in the game that alone will take some time to get it all. i get this game but if the price is what you worried then go for it on sale either way you have alot of fun with it and drop alot of hours into it. See you on the Ready Line Marines
I nice surprise as I didn't even know this one was in the works.

Honestly I'm massively dissapointed with the game. The graphics were bad the game play was bland it almost feels worse than the first one.
