Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very generic and uninteresting side scroller. Plays mediocre.
esta muy divertido matar a estos bichos

Jogava esse jogo em 1998. Nostalgia!
Surprisingly good. Got it out of Duke Nukem curiosity. If you don't know the history Duke Forever was first a side scroller before they decided to go FPS and sold their work to another company, eventually ending up in Alien Rampage. Has some flaws but the same stuff you see in most action platformers on computers back then. It's best aspect is it's personality. Graphics are great, goes for a style and it all came together. Smooth animations, nice detailed sprites and backgrounds, only issue is its hard to see when things get kinetic. There're tons of enemies around every corner, which can lead to cheap deaths due to the sprites being huge. That's part of the appeal in a way, these giant sprites packing a lot of character. The gore is more than just an edgy detail: the humongous splats of blood make it clear that you killed an enemy. Gameplay is super flawed but, again, if you like computer platformers of the time you'll be able to forgive some shortcomings. Its like a mix of contra and cinematic platformers (Prince of Persia, Blackthorne): tight 8 direction shooting and platforming of contra with ledge grabs and climbing like cinematic platformers. Like I said it's easy to get killed by enemies you didn't see coming, especially when they start shooting off screen. It's hard to dodge shots since crouching doesn't protect you. You have to time your jumps over the shots while shooting back or find a safe place to camp and shoot from. Killing enemies is satisfying cus of the gore effects and sound design. It's exploratory elements are the strongest aspect of gameplay: You'll go from hitting switches to finding keys to saving enslaved aliens that help you up until you get to the stage exit. Something good is instead of lives you just lose some money when you respawn. Alleviates the frustration of game overs. There're checkpoints but they're pretty spaced out. Oh yeah money- there're shops in the stages that sell you ammo for one of various weapons you can switch between. There's a ton of weapons and you have to cycle through them all in one go till you select the one you want, which sucks but each of the weapons has it's unique usage in combat. With homing missiles you could find a place to sit and clear out the area before moving forward. The spread allows better ranged and crowd control options. Default weapon gets the job done, straight shots and unlimited ammo that has to refresh after firing. It's a tug of war: Graphics are great and add character but the sprites are so big you get hit too easily. Explorations enjoyable but there're cheap traps and enemy placements. There's a ton of weapon variety but switching between them is cumbersome. Overall, though? It's still fun and has charming presentation. That alone is enough for me to enjoy myself, even if it's not the best game ever. If you enjoyed Duke 1 and 2 you'll enjoy this but it's not as good as them. If you enjoy this kinda game from the DOS and Amiga era you'll get a kick outta this. Pick it up on sale if you can.
Fun Factor: Medium fun, medium difficulty, would recommend if it’s on sale. Graphics: The character sprites, levels, and gore are all pretty sick looking and one of the game’s biggest selling points in my opinion. I would recommend turning up the gamma levels in the options menu to make the colors pop a bit more, the game will still look “dark and gritty” so don’t worry. Music: There is no music lmao, and to quote every single video game reviewer in modern times “AND THAT’S A GOOD THING!” seriously though, I just opened up some heavy metal instrumental only music in the background and it worked out perfectly. Controls: A bit old school feeling, but nothing to complain about. Some guy was talking about not being able to get his XBOX 360 controller to work, literally just hit Ctrl+F1 to bring up the DOSBox menu to map the keyboard buttons to your XBOX 360 controller or any controller. Or better yet use JoyToKey, here’s my set up, adjust accordingly. POV Up: Up Arrow POV Right: Right Arrow POV Down: Down Arrow POV Left: Left Arrow Button 1: R-Ctrl - Jump Button 2: Tab - Weapons Cycle Button 3: R-Alt - Shoot Button 7: Escape - Back Button 8: Space - Pause Button 12: Y - Yes To Quit
Alien Rampage is a product of the golden era of PC action games, delivering a straightforward but highly entertaining run-and-gun experience that embraces fast-paced combat and old-school challenge. Developed by Inner Circle Creations and published on Steam by Piko Interactive LLC and Bleem!, the game transports players into a hostile science-fiction world where survival depends on quick reflexes, powerful weapons, and a willingness to blast through countless enemies. Rather than focusing on a complex narrative, Alien Rampage places its emphasis squarely on action, creating an experience that feels like a love letter to classic DOS shooters. The game's premise is simple yet effective. After a violent encounter leaves the protagonist stranded on an alien world, players embark on a mission filled with danger, destruction, and revenge. This uncomplicated setup allows the game to concentrate on what it does best: delivering relentless combat across a lengthy campaign. The adventure spans more than twenty levels, each designed to test the player's reactions and adaptability. As players move deeper into the hostile environments, the intensity steadily increases, ensuring that the experience remains engaging from beginning to end. One of Alien Rampage's greatest strengths is its weapon variety. The game provides an arsenal of powerful firearms and destructive tools that make every encounter satisfying. Each weapon feels distinct and encourages different approaches to combat, whether players prefer precision attacks or overwhelming firepower. The constant stream of enemies ensures these weapons are put to good use, and the resulting explosions and visual effects create a gratifying sense of chaos. Combat rarely slows down, making the game particularly appealing to fans of classic action titles that prioritize excitement over realism. Enemy diversity also plays a major role in keeping the gameplay fresh. The campaign introduces dozens of unique creatures and hostile opponents, each presenting different challenges. Some enemies charge aggressively, while others attack from a distance or appear in large groups that threaten to overwhelm the player. The boss encounters stand out as memorable milestones, requiring more careful strategy and persistence than standard battles. These larger confrontations help break up the pacing and provide rewarding moments of accomplishment throughout the journey. Beyond its combat, Alien Rampage incorporates light platforming and exploration elements that add variety to the gameplay. Players must navigate environmental hazards, locate pathways, and occasionally solve simple progression challenges. These segments prevent the game from becoming a repetitive shooting gallery and encourage players to pay attention to their surroundings. While the action remains the primary focus, these additional mechanics help create a more complete adventure. Visually, the game showcases the strengths of mid-1990s PC game design. Detailed pixel art, colorful environments, large enemy sprites, and parallax scrolling combine to create levels that still possess a certain retro charm. Although modern technology has long surpassed these visuals, the presentation remains appealing for players who appreciate classic graphics. The environments are varied enough to maintain interest, and the visual effects effectively communicate the power of the game's weapons and explosions. The difficulty level reflects the design philosophy of its era. Alien Rampage does not constantly guide or protect the player, often demanding careful movement, resource management, and repeated attempts to overcome difficult sections. Some players may find this challenging by modern standards, but those who enjoy retro gaming will likely appreciate the sense of accomplishment that comes from mastering its mechanics. The game rewards patience and skill rather than accessibility, which contributes to its enduring appeal among fans of old-school shooters. Sound design complements the action well, providing energetic effects that reinforce the intensity of combat. Explosions, weapon fire, and enemy sounds help create an immersive atmosphere, while the soundtrack supports the game's fast-moving pace. Though limited by the technology of its original release period, the audio remains effective and contributes to the overall feeling of a chaotic alien battlefield. Alien Rampage succeeds because it understands its purpose. It does not attempt to be a cinematic blockbuster or a deeply narrative-driven adventure. Instead, it delivers a focused action experience built around satisfying shooting mechanics, memorable enemies, varied levels, and a rewarding challenge curve. For players who enjoy classic side-scrolling shooters and want to experience a piece of PC gaming history, it remains an entertaining and worthwhile title that captures the spirit of a bygone era remarkably well.
simply badass
Really enjoy this game, variety of monsters, with elements of blood and fire, some parts are difficult to find the path, but its cool to get surprised when the solution comes. It doesn't have soundtrack, but if you play some metal music on the background becomes a good experience e.e
