Unbelievably underrated in both gameplay and presentation; it feels like it came right out of a japanese arcade with how bright and vibrant it is, and I wish more VR rhythm games were like it. Even though the song list may seem paltry compared to other offerings, I still think this was worth the price of admission, and hope that the devs make a sequel, or another team takes up the mantle.

This does a lot right. Simple things that many other rhythm games miss. The songs are good, and there is enough selection to keep you playing. Also they actually give you a grade (A,B,C,D,S,SSS,etc) for each song. Most games nowadays just drop a leader board on it and call it done. Sounds like a small thing but finishing a song to see that you are rank 1536 doesn't do much to motivate you to play it again. "Oh maybe this time I can get 1535!", said no one ever. But when you look at the song selection here and see a big shiny S on every song but one, you bet you're gonna play that one you missed to get it up to that S rank. Plus it has a harder difficulty level you can switch to once you master all the lower level ones. Now for the bad side. The tutorial is a bit of a pain with a JRPG style character slowly talking to you while also attempting to establish some world building. Some people will like this, but for a rhythm game it felt a bit unnecessary. Also, as far as I can tell you're only options at the end of a song are to retry the song or exit back to the hub world. So you can't just finish a song and go straight to song selection to pick another one. It's only one extra click (with a load screen), but it can add up if you are playing a lot of songs.

Oculusでひさびさに遊ぼうと思ったけどあそべません。ゲームを立ち上げて少しすすめたらゲームが落ちてしまいます。
It's really good! though there aren't any songs I know, they're quite catchy and fun to play through. There is a story, but I'm not far enough to really comment. It is intriguing though! I'm looking forward to playing more! And yes, make sure you change the voice to Japanese, you'll enjoy the experience MUCH more
Airtones is an arcade-style VR rhythm game. Family-friendly in terms of design. Gameplay actually utilizes controller buttons, which is rare in most rhythm games. Not officially supported, but this worked on WMR for me. The English voice acting seems amateurish (being talked to like a 5 year old, unless that's the target audience?). Japanese VA is professionally done though, so that's my setting now. Color is great, high saturation, but not flashy-neon seizure-inducing. Song selection is limited (2017, arcade-style = reasonable), so I suggest getting it on sale.
It is an excelent rhythm game if you like the music. Sadly the Oculusversion stoped working. I bought the steamversion because I liked it so much. Problem is now: There is no haptic feedback on this version. So I would give it 7/10 right now because of poor support. Otherwise it would be 10/10
