About
Step into an adrenaline-fueled, retro first-person shooter paying homage to the beloved console shooters of the ‘90s.
Engage in pulse-pounding shootouts against cutting-edge enemy AI straight out of the futuristic realm of 1997.
Embark on 14 daring missions as Secret Agent John Walter, an elite operative tasked with saving the world from his arch-nemesis, Dominic Pulp. Protect the future against the phantoms of the past.
Traverse skyscrapers, nightclubs, museums, catacombs, and snow bases in a heart-pumping journey of espionage.
Play the entire campaign as a one-man army or alongside friends via split-screen and online cooperative play!
Each story mission is a self-contained environment where you have to accomplish varied objectives, such as hacking terminals, stealing secret plans, freeing civilian hostages, and much more… all while fighting armed guards in epic shootouts, of course.
3 Difficulty Levels
Every mission can be completed in 3 distinct difficulty modes (Agent, Special Agent, and 64 Agent). With higher difficulty comes more objectives, and more open areas to discover.
(Tip: Start with Agent to familiarize yourself with the missions, then ramp up the difficulty to discover what comes next.)
By beating par times and other trials, you can unlock Paradox Modes, which contain 70+ modifiers and cheats that enable various effects on regular gameplay, including:
Big Heads
Melee Disarms
Slow Bullet Speeds
No Reload
…and many more!
Ready for an unorthodox challenge? Complete Contracts: remixed missions with different objectives and Paradox mode pre-sets for additional Paradox unlocks.
Fight against friends in local split-screen multiplayer combat, or take the gunfight online with up to 8 players and 8 additional bots.
Enjoy full lobby customization including teams, weapon set, rule sets and paradox modifiers, with up to 10 saved pre-sets to your liking.
Deathmatch: Classic deathmatch, score the more frags to win!
Briefcase: Capture the briefcase and hold it for long enough to score a point. But don't get too comfortable, after each point won, the briefcase position is reset to a random point on the map.
Zone: You have to capture the zone on the map to score points. Don't let any enemy contest it as it will stall the countdown!
Challenges: special matches against pre-set bots where players must reach a precise score under a certain amount of time. The faster you win, the better the prizes. Unlock maps, characters, music tracks, and more!

Reviews
It was exactly what I wanted.
AI stupidly hard, aim assist is garbage and doesn't lock targets most of the time, lack of story advancement without cyphers which require player to have to deal with higher difficulty levels with even stupidly harder AI that never misses shots. Game's named wrong, it should be "Agent ZERO" for zero stars! Save your money and DON'T buy this, instead buy a PROPER shooter like Postal 2 or Postal 4

THIS GAME ROCKS!!!
Other reviews withholding a thumbs up because the main campaign is locked behind the "contracts" currency are focusing on the wrong thing. Similar to GoldenEye And Perfect Dark before it, the real fun to be had is in its multiplayer offerings. In Agent 64 the "Challenges" are where it's at-- local co-op challenges that unlock multiplayer maps, weapons and modes, and completing them is probably the most fun I've had all year. In short, Agent 64 probably is a thumbs down if you only play the single player mode. But if you have IRL friends it is just such a good time. Also, about replaying campaign missions to earn "contracts" currency: the missions get more interesting on harder difficulties, with additional objectives (and sometimes wacky modifiers). It's just not a big deal to replay them! There's so much content here in this game. If you once enjoyed a Rare N64 FPS, pick this up and feel joy again.
there are so many little details that show the devs paid attention, the bullet hole graphic, everything blows up when you shoot it, even the hit noises. the flashbacks it gave me to a certain game from my childhood on the n64...genuinely made me smile. great work
This game is on the short side, but it is a masterpiece of retro gaming goodness that all people should at least consider trying. It scratches that Goldeneye/Perfect Dark itch perfectly. My only complaint is that no one is playing the Online multiplayer and that makes me sad.
If you grew up sitting three inches from a CRT television holding a weird three pronged controller, this game is an immediate trip back to the golden era of console shooters. What makes it stick, though, is that it captures the feel and vibe of the classics without bringing along the atrocious 15 FPS or clumsy analog controls that make going back to the originals rough. Four hours in, running through a couple of different difficulty tiers, and I’m fully hooked.
Gunplay is fun, weapons feel good. The game is just a little boring.
Goldeneye and Perfect Dark are core childhood memories for me. This game is a perfect way to revisit those memories with some new gameplay. Do not regret buying.
Agent 64: Spies Never Die is a very faithful throwback to GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark. The gunplay, levels and missions structure will make you feel right at home. But, some things about the campaign are a bit annoying and could be improved: - Weapon selection is limited to a few pistols and the same 2 or 3 automatics. - Sniper Rifle doesn't seem to zoom further than other weapons. - Enemy AI sometimes have a long starting animation, giving you plenty of time to attack. I wish they could throw grenades instead. They can melee attack, which is great. - Item selection is done by menus. I would prefer new key binds different from weapon cycling. Personally, the look of the menus could be better: GoldenEye used a watch, Perfect Dark something similar. But here, it's basic PC menu. This is where the game could bring out its own personality. There is no mission briefing section to explain where the player is, what he has to do and why in the context of the story could be interesting. The story is pretty much in the intro cutscenes and in the mission objective description. As for multiplayer, I haven't touched it. But, since the targeting system is more like the console games, I prefer something like a classic PC shooter. GoldenEye Source 5.0 is a better option for me.
