It's a solid 6.5/10 Some improvements over AOW3, but also some missteps nerfing some of the funnier aspects of the AOW series.
I don't know what is, but lately the game has stopped working. Ever since the last Windows 10 update - I'm on Windows 11 now and I have the same issue. The game get's to the Main Menu, but it hogs 70-80% of my CPU and RAM. Also, it takes forever for it to finish loading the Load Menu. I enjoy the game, but lately I can't even play it. I have the hardware, and have no problems. I can play AOW 4 without issue, but Planetfall I can't even access my Save and Load options. Update: If your game is lagging and slow to load then I suggest adding the game to the exclusion list on your internet security program, turn off saving to the cloud and delete all game folders and reinstall. Be advised you will lose your save games and progress.

i like it
This genre isn't normally my go-to, but this game is a blast. It's very creative, imaginative, and addictive. I inevitably stay up too late playing and taking "one last turn". Highly Recommend!
