Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

DLC bloat. Anti-consumer practices. It was a good game until corporate greed took the wheel. Please have a vision for your games and complete that vision rather than constantly tweaking things to fit your marketing strategies.
I started playing this game just over a month ago. This game has taken over my entire life and honestly I'm not even mad about it, this game is a masterpiece. I'd wanted to play it for a long time, but unfortunately I didn't have either the money nor a good enough computer, and now that I've played it, I'm so annoyed that I couldn't sooner. This might be the best game I've ever played

It took me a few tries to get into it, but now I'm thoroughly obsessed with Age of Wonders 4. It's a fantastic 4X game that blends Civilization with Heroes of Might and Magic, but it also is more than the sum of those parts too. Probably the most unique feature is the race customization and progression. You can build a unique fantasy race (or use one of the MANY pre-built ones) that has its own strengths and weaknesses. But what's so cool is that, during the course of a campaign, you can unlock spells that vastly alter the appearance and abilities of your race. Want to turn your molemen into eldritch demons? Sure. Transform your dwarven empire into sentient crystal-people? Your call. Make your forest elves trade in their legs for snake tails, making some weird-ass naga hybrid? It's your life, dude. Anyway, the game is great. The layering of all it systems makes for some really fun moments and very engaging campaigns that can be fun all the way through. The battle system is also quite enjoyable, too. Near the end of a campaign, I'm usually using autobattle because it can really extend the length of a campaign if you fight every battle yourself. But it's great to have both options (and if you lose an autobattle, you can retry it as a regular battle to see if you can reverse your ill fortune). My only real complaints are that -- surprise, surprise -- enemy AI can be quite dubious and a little too passive for my tastes. I've been at war with factions for 50 turns and felt like they didn't once send an invading army over to me, despite not having much else to do. I also wish diplomacy had some more granular options, especially around war target coordination. But my gripes with the game are minor in light of all the fun I've had. Would really recommend this (and all of its DLC, which just adds more and more content to an already content-filled game) to just about anyone into strategy games.
Love the game, but too much DLC to afford to keep buying. Greedy
greeeaaat game, trash dlc prices, check on steamdb for previous dates to buy them
Good game, but the prices of expansions and the rate they are released is frankly an insult to those who've purchased the main game, its just fragrant and uneccessary greed. It makes immortal empires look cheap. The studio really needs to DO BETTER!
Another Paradox Title DLCs the price of a full game. Even CREATIVE ASSEMBLY DLCs are cheaper. Does anyone even try to stay competitive these days or cumsumers will pay anything to get their slop. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ paradox account requirement to play online so they can send you more slop over email... Data harvest because everyone is doing it... ♥♥♥♥♥♥ paradox launcher and game becoming unstable in offline mode. Other than than that its OK.
Age of Wonders 4 feels like somebody dumped a fantasy novel, a tabletop campaign, and a war simulator into a magical blender and somehow made it fun instead of overwhelming. One minute you’re creating noble frog knights riding wolves under a moon goddess, and the next you’re launching apocalyptic spells that turn the battlefield into a flaming nightmare. The game constantly rewards creativity, letting you build ridiculous fantasy civilizations that feel personal instead of generic. Every campaign becomes its own chaotic story full of betrayals, giant monsters, and moments where your carefully crafted empire nearly collapses because you got greedy and tried to fight three kingdoms at once. What makes the game really addictive is how alive everything feels. The music swells like you’re starring in your own fantasy movie, the customization options are almost dangerous for people who love character creation, and the combat scratches the same itch as moving miniatures around a tabletop map at 2 AM with friends. Even when you lose, it feels entertaining because the disasters are so dramatic. Triumph Studios basically made a fantasy sandbox where half the fun is watching your own terrible decisions become legendary stories.
One of the most fun 4x Turn-Based on the market. Ridiculous amount of replayability. The reason why I won't recommend it is because of Paradox and their ridiculous tendency to sell all their games with 20+ dlcs. Greedy doesn't even describe those chaps.
