Age of Empires: Definitive Edition

Que mas se puede decir sobre este juego. Amo este juego y su secuela, creci con el, desde que otorgaban una copia de su demo en los discos de instalacion de drivers de las computadoras en los 90'. Recuerdo bien que buscaba desesperadamente actualizar aquella pc que parecia armario de zapatos viejos, para lograr correr alguno de los juegos que contenia aquellos cds. Este juego marco mi vida, y abrio un panorama tan amplio al genero de estrategia real y militar, asimismo aspectos relevantes de la historia universal, que continuo amando hasta el dia de hoy despues de treinta anos ya. Espero logren apreciar su tematica y potencial. Lo recomiendo con todo mi corazon!

I remember when this game first came out so many years ago. What a delight to be within history, building up a civilization, fighting battles -- oh it was fun! Of course, compared to games these days (yes, I know I sound old) the mechanics of this game are not as streamlined, but speaking for myself I am very glad that they have maintained the spirit of the original game. The graphics are improved, the menu is improved, but at the core the game is still the game. This is the original Age of Empires with all its faulty troop movement and steady slow build up to a fight. If you're a fan of the later games and you want to see where it all began, then you'll enjoy this game. If you're looking for what you'll find in Age of Empires 2 or Age of Empires 4, then you'll be a bit disappointed. Overall, I do recommend it for those who played the original or just for anyone who is a fan of the Age of Empire's franchise.

Es un clasico. Lo unico que no me gusta es que no se pueden usar los viejos sonidos del juego original que para mi son iconicos pero imagino que en algun momento algun modder lo agregara.
