For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not recommended, too many bugs/soft locks where you have to go back and do everything over again.
Tolles Detektivspiel!

I want to believe that im a rational person i wouldnt say no to some puzzles, in a detective story some puzzles are expected to come by. And also i do not object to the thought process of finding connections among certain events and reaching conclusions on the contrary this is the most interesting part and the essence of the game. However let me point out in a very clear and definitive way solving puzzles does not mean that the puzzles should be anything the developer wishes to put in the game. For example its not my freaking job to fix the jukebox im a famous detective and im not a technician, its not my job solving 3 different puzzles just to fix a jukebox because a lady wanted to hear a specific song in order to talk to me. Its not my freaking job as a famous detective to put the baggage in the trunk in a way so there will be enough space for all. Its not my job to assist the maid with her baggage. My job is to solve puzzles relevant to the case and murders its not solve boring , frustrating and time consuming puzzles for the sake of solving puzzles, meaningless pieces of crap that the developer felt should be part of the game. THEY SHOULDNT.
Pretty good game in the series , although there are a few drawbacks. For example, having to solve 15 puzzles in a row in a chapter is a bit intense. Also you cannot skip cutscenes when you select a chapter after finishing the game, which is annoying. Some glitches while moving up and down stairs as well but overall a good game.
Death on Denial
The detective gameplay is heavily inspired from the Sherlock Holmes series by Frogwares, with a mind map, interrogations, and puzzle mini-games, and in the first couple of missions it starts off very strong. Then soon after, the veneer wears off and you notice how messy and buggy the whole thing is. You can start making conclusions based on facts you haven't uncovered yet. Or on the contrary, you are not allowed to draw a conclusion based on facts you already have, because it's gated via another irrelevant event that you haven't ticked yet. The result is a rather frustrating experience, since often you will understand who the culprit is long before the game allows you to draw that conclusion using its clunky mechanics. And let's not forget that you already know the culprit from the beginning. Yes, this story follows the same main plot as the book and movie, without any surprises or twists, so half the game is already spoiled from the minute you pick it up. The other half of the game is newly written and follows Jane Royce, a PI looking into a criminal organisation, Unfortunately it's not well written. This part of the plot is neither interesting nor believable, and the Jane sections contain a lot of annoying minigames such as detestable "tail the suspect" challenges. Her plot-hole ridden epilogue (ending B) earns a spot in the top 10 most ridiculous murder mysteries. Let me end with the things I actually liked about the game. I do like they transposed the story into the 70s, with a very period appropriate art style and scenery, and the BGM is excellent. Also I enjoyed the great majority of the puzzles, even though those are hated by a large number of players. While it's true that some mission have too many of them, which slows down gameplay, there is a huge variety of them and they are well designed. Unfortunately that's too little for me to recommend the game, though by all means it's not a horrible game either, and if you have never read the book it might even be worth playing to discover Agatha Christie's original story.
I'm a huge fan of Agatha Christie, mystery games, and I loved the first game. I'm DNF'ing this one after 10 hours of painful boredom and frustration. The Good: -it's beautiful -I've not had any glitches The Bad: -I'm 10 hours in and we're just getting to the actual novel mystery -The chapters are so boring. It's "oh look, another puzzle that makes no sense and we have no idea what we're supposed to do!" -The whole Spider plot feels like an after though. I find myself groaning when I switch to these chapters. Since I'm not finishing I have no idea what the connection is but I haven't been given a reason to care either. -Have I mentioned that the puzzles have no rhyme or reason to them half the time? Even cheating with hints you'll be scratching your head wondering what we're supposed to trying to accomplish. And the hints can be absolutely useless because you aren't sure what you're trying to accomplish to begin with. -I want so badly to finish this to play what is a great novel, but I'm on my 5th room to search and once again have a puzzle that has 0 instructions. I realized I wasn't even attempting them anymore and that's a sign to call it. -This 1970s vibe is not my speed. It feels like it has no reason to it. Like, at all. -I cannot believe I've done 10 hours of this game because I feel like I've accomplished nothing.
Its stylish and exciting detective game with its own vibe of the 1st part of 20th centure. Definitely worth playing! - "Sir, you are lying" - "No, Sir, I'm not!"
