love this game
This game is historically bad. Worst AFL game on the market. The AI is always at least 3 plays ahead of you, once the AI gets the ball just give up and wait for the score. Your handballs dont go to your players but AI is always there for it. The rucks are a joke and bounndary throw-ins are laughable. For some reason BigAnt thinks that the first thing that you do once you get the ball is bounce it - try a quick kick and you are done for incorrect disposal. I love AFL and being an ex-pat was looking forward to this game. What a let down. And a pity that Steam only allows 2 hours of play before stopping refunds. This should not be for sale for anything more than $10, and I don't even think it is worth that. 1/10 and never buying a BigAnt game again.
I honestly do not understand how you could make a game so damn ♥♥♥♥, that the game that was made 22 years ago is leaps and bounds better. this is literally one of the worst games mechanically made in the history of games, and i hope this company goes bankrupt. you are terrible.
how insane is it that if you want to play for your team in pro career mode you cannot win whatsoever if your team is the eagles, north melbourne or simply any team thats "bad" in the real world its not possible to win in a videogame no matter how much you change the difficulty, AFL evo 2 and 1 had it right when you would go 10 years in the future and every team was competetive. I get it people want realism and my team is bad but ffs isnt it half the point to pretend your team is good for once? not only that, the flow of the game is so slow, constant stoppage with tackles and free kicks. Is AFL even able to be a video game anymore with this new era? its actually infuriating how much they butchered this. One last thing for the devs, you want to make AFL like how EA make fifa etc but first you have to have a good game in the first place, just take your time on the next one stop rushing for the new season make a legends game or a game based in the 90s, 2000's and make a foundation, then you can make yearly games with it not yearly games with sh** *ss gameplay. Going to delete this shi once i get the eagles a flag ffs lol.
French lover of footy, a sport that looks like the best team builded game ever.... But the thing is that we don't have any option to change keys... I f you want your game to enter in the historical sports games, you've got to unlock an option like "custom keys"... We are in 2026 dudes... Your game is fkg great but you've got to propose a great step on gamelplay if you want to make Footy known all around the world.
it is a great game and very realistic
