Adorable Adventures

I feel like the name Adorable Adventure describes this game perfectly. This has to be one of the cutest games I’ve played. As soon as I heard about it, I was sure I'd play it one day, but I have to say, the game surprised me more than I expected. One of the things I wasn't expecting was the narrator and the way the story was presented. The narrator isn't constantly there telling you what to do, but instead follows along with the story as your adventure progresses. I really enjoyed that because it gave the game its own personality and made the experience feel more engaging. I also really liked how silly the game could be at times. There are moments where you can approach things with a bit of that childlike way of thinking, and I loved seeing how the narrator reacted to some of those moments. It made the whole experience feel playful and reminded me that this game wasn't afraid to have a little fun with itself. It's one of those things I think is better experienced for yourself, so I don't want to say too much and spoil anything. I also really liked the different little challenges scattered throughout the game. They gave you reasons to actually explore the areas rather than simply moving forward and finishing the story. Everything felt like it was encouraging you to take your time and see what the game had to offer. If you're someone who enjoys getting achievements, I think the game does a particularly good job with them. It really makes sure that you experience the entire area and, in a way, the entire game. Getting all of the achievements isn't simply a matter of playing through the story; some of them make you stop, think, remember something you've seen, or pay closer attention to your surroundings. I found that really smart because it encouraged me to explore things I might otherwise have walked right past.
