For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
A Fresh Take on Deckbuilding
Basing combat around poker cards is a really cool idea, and it creates a nice balance between luck and planning. I enjoyed the story. It isn't just a series of battles. The different choices you make can lead to different encounters and events, which gives each run a little more personality. I also really like the art style. It has its own identity and fits the game's fantasy world really well. What kept me playing was the amount of variety. There are plenty of cards to unlock, different combinations to experiment with, and each character has their own skills and playstyle that make runs feel different. The enemies also have their own unique and later upgraded abilities, so battles feel less repetitive and you're constantly adapting every time. Even after finishing the story, there's still plenty to do. The extra game modes are a fun way to challenge yourself, and the higher difficulty levels add another reason to come back. Between leveling up characters, upgrading your deck, and trying different builds, there was always something else new to try. Overall, Aces & Adventures feels like a genuinely fresh take on the genre. It takes familiar deckbuilding ideas and mixes them with poker mechanics in a way that feels creative, rewarding, and surprisingly addictive.
Aces & Adventures is one of the more unique deck-builders out there. Instead of relying purely on standard card game mechanics, it mixes poker-style hands with RPG combat and roguelike progression, creating a system that feels surprisingly fresh once you understand how everything works. At first the mechanics can seem a bit confusing, but after a few runs the game really starts to click. Building strong hands while managing abilities, mana, and character-specific mechanics creates a nice balance between strategy and luck. It feels different enough from games like Slay the Spire to stand on its own instead of just feeling like another clone. The presentation is also excellent. The narrated storybook style, soundtrack, and fantasy art give the game a cozy tabletop RPG feeling that fits the gameplay really well. The good: - Unique mix of poker and deck-building mechanics - Different classes feel distinct - Strong art style and presentation - Great narrator and soundtrack - Strategic gameplay with multiple approaches - Runs are fun once the mechanics click - Good variety of cards and abilities - Roguelike progression stays engaging - Feels different from most deck-builders The bad: - Learning curve can be confusing at first - RNG can sometimes feel brutal - Some classes are more enjoyable than others - Runs can become repetitive after long sessions - Certain builds feel much stronger than others - Story isn’t especially memorable - UI can feel a bit cluttered - Not every mechanic is explained clearly Overall, Aces & Adventures is a clever and refreshing take on the deck-building roguelike genre. It may take some time to fully understand, but once it clicks, it becomes a very addictive and satisfying strategy game.

Decent card game with a strong narrative.
