ACE COMBAT™ 7: SKIES UNKNOWN

Thanks, great game, i remembered seeing my Uncle play a Fighter Jet on the PS2, but would be to hard for my 6 year old ass brain, i remembered that game and wanted to play it, it was AC4. i investigated it and wanted to see where the franchise was, the year was 2020, during the Pandemic, it was a joy to play this game, then going back and play almost all the amazing games this franchise has, seeing the Trailer for AC8 and seeing Ace Combat living on is almost magical

This is a solid Ace Combat Game played it through so many times now. Can seem expensive especially with all the DLC but it is a good game so I would say worth it for sure!

Phenomenal story, music scored by the gods, controls that feel good no matter what controller you're using (yes, even M/KB when you set it right), this is a perfect game that you could easily dump a couple hundred hours into. If only AC8 wasn't coming out soon, then maybe I could...

Ace Combat 7 gives you the stick to fly some of the fastest machines ever made. With a roster of over two dozen real-world fighter jets, you have everything from the ultra-modern F-22 to the Cold War-era MiG-21, and a lot in between. Each plane has 3 secondary weapons, alongside a plethora of so-called parts that give extra stats to the plane. It’s a fun and surprisingly deep way to customize how your plane functions. Want to go extremely fast? Put extra engine parts on the plane. Want more powerful weapons? Put weapon parts on it, etc. The game takes place in a fictional alternative Earth of the 21st century. With its unique set of countries and locations, the game feels incredibly fresh and unique in its storytelling. It’s honestly really sad that we don’t see more unique worlds like this in video games. The game takes place over 20 missions, with 3 extra missions on top of that. It’s a campaign so great that I genuinely feel there isn’t a single bad mission, or even one that feels sluggish or poorly paced. Something not even the spectacular Call of Duty campaigns have managed to do. During the story, you play as Trigger, who isn’t really a character so much as the personification of you, the player. And because of the subject matter, the game makes you just feels as badass. You’re flying through battles with hundreds of drones, flying between mountains, or soaring through thick volumetric clouds. Ace Combat 7 being my first game in the series has definitely made me a lifelong fan of the series. That feeling of flying a fighter jet is something nothing else can really beat. An amazing story, a unique world, and an incredible setup make me really recommend this game to everybody.
