Crashed evertime in mission 444
This game is actually terrible. I don't understand why it has such positive reviews. there's so much hand holding that it insults the player's intelligence, every voice line is annoying, it's incredibly unrealistic, the music--specifically any menu music--is absolutely atrocious and sounds like a wii game, the story is more or less non-existant, and every cutscene is almost completely unrelated to the gameplay and has characters that we rarely even encounter in the gameplay. As someone who's username is literally fighterpilot, I can't stand this game for any longer than I have so far.
how do you lock down the gameplay so good and screw everything up so immensely? why would you make every mission so complicated and hard to follow? I can only imagine the basic idea was "have the player fail a few times before they figure out how to beat the mission" and the single way to do that is throw more enemies than your ammunition. every. single. mission. I'm not even gonna mention the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story as I just started skipping all the cutscenes past mission 10, devs should be ashamed of using child labour as I'm pretty sure the script was written by middles choolers.
FIrst game I've ever bought from Steam after I got my new Laptop, helped through tough times after some personal loss. Great game, Meh on the Story (Unfortunately) but the hype moments and music more than make up for it. Can't wait for AC8
Ace Combat 7 is a return to form of the series after Assault Horizon. The storytelling is nothing special, but the gameplay and mission design is absolutely fantastic. Runs extremely well. Even with 8 coming on the horizon, AC7 is still worth picking up and playing.
