Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
A very pretty and relaxing game. Buy it on a discount though since it's not very long.

Única coisa que esse jogo erra é me fazer pensar que a hipotese do Macaco-peixe podia ser real. Quem foi tetrapode maldito que achou que sair da água era uma boa ideia?

My score: 7.5/10 ⭐ TL;DR: A beautiful underwater journey that excels at atmosphere and immersion, even if the controls can be slightly uncomfortable.
Overview
One of the things I love most about videogames as an art form is when they don't merely show you a feeling, but somehow transport you into it and let you experience it firsthand. ABZÛ does exactly that. Its cel-shaded visuals aren't realistic, nor is its subtle story about ancient sea entities particularly relatable, yet through its color palette, lighting, and outstanding sound design, the game creates an astonishing sense of place. As someone who grew up by the sea, I could almost feel where the water would become colder, where a current might be passing through, where the crystal-clear shallows gave way to darker and murkier depths. It's difficult to explain, but the atmosphere is remarkably tangible. I do have one major complaint, though: the controls. You have to hold RT to swim. Having to hold a button to swim in a game where swimming is what you'll be doing 95% of the time is already a questionable design choice; making that button a trigger is downright evil. Triggers are the only buttons on a controller that actively resist your finger, and after a while your right index finger will definitely start filing formal complaints. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3736600073 The game is inspired by the first tablet of the Enûma Eliš (the Babylonian creation epic—look it up, it's interesting), and yet all I can think about is Disney's The Little Mermaid.
One Thing I Loved / One Thing I Didn’t
✔️ Loved: The unexpected story beats surrounding
an unlikely friendship
. ✖️ Didn't: Megalophobia + thalassophobia = I did not enjoy swimming next to whales.
Key Points
[*]
DIFFICULTY:
Barely any. Collectibles are somewhat hidden, and one category ("Secret Shells") unlocks a neat reward. [*]
PRESENTATION:
One of the brightest, cleanest, and most elegant art styles I've ever seen. The sound design and orchestral soundtrack are outstanding as well. [*]
STORY:
A subtle narrative gives purpose to the exploration, with a couple genuine "Oh, wow!" moments. No text, no dialogue—just environmental storytelling and a few cutscenes. [*]
GAMEPLAY/GAMEPLAY LOOP:
Swim, explore, and vibe with marine wildlife. It's a shame such a relaxing game is paired with such an inconvenient control scheme. [*]
TECHNICAL POLISH:
No bugs or glitches detected. [*]
MONEYxCONTENT VALUE:
A ten-year-old game, $19.99, and roughly four hours of content (one blind playthrough plus a second cleanup run for collectibles and achievements). That's a fairly steep $5 per hour. Since replayability is also quite limited and highly dependent on personal taste, I'd recommend waiting for a discount.
