In a world powered by brine, a rare and powerful substance only found in the deepest fathoms of the sea, your team of daring brinepunk explorers is recruited to claim a massive deposit located beneath the ruins of an ancient civilization. However, your mission becomes a frantic battle for survival when the sunken kingdom’s corrupted inhabitants rise against you.

In Abyssus, cooperation means survival. Team up with fellow Brinehunters and carefully choose synergic loadouts, skills, suits, and weapon mods. Work together and fight through a merciless roguelite gauntlet, where no run is the same as the last.

This game is fun and easy to play. There is so much depth and combos that you have to find to make meta builds it becomes so much fun with friends when you do. Couldnt be happier with this gem
So the game prior to this update was good. Everything was fine. But now some of my stuff got relocked. I have to redo some of the challenges again to unlock what I already grinded for. And the biggest complaint I have is the new perk system. Went from being able to unlock EVERYTHING and the runs being manageable. Deep water does tend to get more difficult as that's what it was intended for. But now I have to sit here. Reread everything and can only have 25 out of all the perks and have to decide what will work for me. Nothing really works anymore. You can either go big and buff yourself up but you wont have healing shrines, upgrade shrines, etc. populate on your runs. You can be mildly squishy and have the upgrades, healing wells, etc. appear on your runs. I'm a casual player. This is a bit much for someone like me. I enjoyed the game cause it was straight forward. Complete a run, upgrade, go again. If I want to experiment with these type of builds I'd go back to playing something Diablo 4. Also the enemies and stuff feel like they got massive buffs while the player got nerfed. It feels like that to me. Maybe not everyone. I'd honestly say go play something like ROBOQUEST. Its challenging but at least its less restricting to the casual player. Update: 8/10/2026 They have updated the skill tree issue (for me anyways). And the game now feels more balanced and fun. 10/10 would recommend. Could do with a unicorn skin though.

Previously had stability issues, been smooth for a while now so updating to positive. Very fun game overall.
I honestly really enjoy this game and its atmosphere. The gameplay is very fluid and rewards your ability to dodge, shoot and complete objectives quickly. You can have runs that take forever but also ones that you fly through. There's so many little things to discover and playing with your friends is an absolute blast. Trying new blessings and weapons/mods seeing just how crazy your build can get is so much fun. Brine all day!

Reversing wheel change is good
This game is highly slept on. I wasn't expecting much but once i started playing i was hooked for a GOOD while. the game play is simple and like most roguelikes, travel through a dungeon and don't die. the gameplay is smooth and challenging, but rewarding once you get your power ups it'll snowball from there. HIGHLY recommend playing with friends and enjoying what the game has to offer.
9/10 game. The only reason why its that is cause some mechanics for powers meshing with relics/weapon upgrades could work a bit better but overall if you like seeing ridiculous numbers or just 1 hitting everything this is a great game for solo players or groupies. Comment fav builds. Mine is Fan blade with blood, gold, and lightning with turrets. Though the new power is looking really fun with melee builds.
