Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30/day in the week to Sep 1 → 34.43/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Home to the world's greatest minds, GATE operates a global network of secretive research laboratories, spanning every field of scientific study - and the realms beyond.
As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually.
After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos.
Containment procedures have failed and help isn’t on the way. Stranded miles beneath the surface, it’s up to you and your fellow scientists to band together, plan your escape, and make this underground complex your new home - for now.

Abiotic Factor brings a 90’s sci-fi twist and rich character progression to the multiplayer open world survival crafting genre. Up to 6 players can choose their PhDs, build their scientist, gear up, and explore a massive subterranean complex, filled with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and science experiments gone awry.

Between alien threats hunting their next meal, trigger happy soldiers, and the world’s most advanced robotic security forces attacking personnel working overtime, there’s no shortage of danger. As a scientist, fighting isn’t your forte, so you’ll need to put your PhD to work to outwit your opponents: craft ingenious and outlandish tools, weapons and gear, from simple nets and wooden bats to laser-cannons and elaborate traps - everything your big science brain can muster!

Make yourself at home - you’re here for the long haul. Scavenge resources from vacant offices and empty labs, raid vending machines, and steal company property to build a new base of operations as you explore the facility. When it’s time for a change of scenery, pack up your belongings and move them across the facility using handcarts, forklifts, SUVs, teleporters, and more.

Don your lab coat and earn your PhD: from Phytogenetic Botanist to Defense Analyst and Archotechnic Consultant (and many, many more), each with its own advantages essential to survival. Combine traits and skills, then level up to earn perks and abilities with your fellow scientists to forge a formidable scientific force.

Working at GATE may have been a dream job, but dying here wasn’t part of your five year plan. Explore this massive underground facility as well as many worlds beyond and take full advantage of the most advanced technology unknown to mankind in this interdimensional sci-fi adventure!

absolutely love this game started playing it solo and didnt really know what i was doing, played for about 20 hours before taking a break, then when i came back to it some friends wanted to play too, so we started a new world together and played regularly with one another and enjoyed exploring and learning everything together. then after over 100 hours together, exploring, fighting, building, we beat the game together, and for me, its a first time ever finishing a game with friends like this, and it was AMAZING, so much fun, everything in this game is so cool to look at and explore, everything you find feels so lively and unique but still connected together
I'm not a survival game player, or enjoyer for that matter. I often find the grind to stay alive coupled together with obscure progression is simply not enjoyable. Abiotic Factor is the exception. Rarely throughout my session did I feel like I was "surviving". I was progressing in a semi-linear way. I won't go into depth regarding its context, but aside from me feeling lost in the maze-like facility I've rarely experienced anything negative. It is truly and honestly a fantastic game. Play it if you like survival games with proper progression. Or if you like half life I guess.

Обожаю вещи, внимательные к мелочам. А здесь даже звук у поврежденных ловушек другой.
A refreshing break from other modern survival games. Sadly, there is a 'but'. The first 40 hours or so of the, for me, 70 hour story, were excellent, and genuinely outstanding. The 25 hours that follow, however, were some of THE most grindy content pieces I've ever had to partake in. Luckily, the progression was simple, and if you did happen to be missing an item that stemmed from earlier in the game it would be easy to obtain...just a chronic bore. This is also one of those survival games that, at times, a wiki is required. Perhaps if your intelligence level is far higher than the average gamer then that complaint won't apply to your experience. I enjoyed my time with this game and don't regret the extensive amount of it that I put in.
While it is definitely inspired by Half Life, Abiotic Factor has a strong enough identity to pull itself away from pure comparison. I'm usually not one for single-player games, but Abiotic Factor having the capacity to both play with friends and alone really helped me love this game more. The scope of cooking and exploration and crafting is so rich to me, that not many other games I own rival it. I also adore the humor in this game, so much that I find myself quoting the player scientists' lines to myself. This game? It's goood.
