Just not really good.. Love the series, cant put my finger on why this one feels so off... but it does... Play any other total war is what i'd recomend

Basically more of the same with little to recommend it if you've played a few TW games in the past. Doesn't do anything better than other instalments. Might just be that the TW template has lost it's lustre for me. But if you're buying this expecting an epic scale story based off one of you favourite historical tales, it falls short of the mark there too. A few cut scenes every now and then to remind you what the theme is, and little else by way of immersion.

played plenty of TW games and out of all the TW games I've played this one is the least rewarding. diplomacy in this game feels like it doesn't even exist. The AI gives no ♥♥♥♥♥ and randomly starts attacking you with no game plan. my entire campaign has been me trying to control Thracians from spawning 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ armies then running away from me turn after turn. conquered all of Greece and gave up, id rather suck start my 20 gauge then play this game again.

By far the worst total war game I have ever played. You start playing. You are somewhat strong and have good relations with other factions and out of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nowhere everyone decleares war on you. I swear to god I thought it was a me problem only to recognize it is special to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. TOTAL WASTE OF ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MONEY. STAY AWAY
