You are a man in a room. Something feels off. Or maybe it's on. A short existential comedy point-and-click non-adventure about the limitations and imitations of human existence – or, really, whatever you want it to be about.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"A Living Room" is a badly made attempt at surrealist art pretending to be a video game, a simple point and click affair with AI slop artwork and AI slop dialogue... it's good that Valve requires developers to warn gamers when AI slop is used to help gamers avoid such products, but they really would help everyone by going the next step and outright banning it. What do you do in the game? You click through some bad writing and click through some surreal, badly written, unimaginative and pointless puzzles. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and that's glaringly obvious here. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 11 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

good game
PROS:

Excellent, dark and engaging story.
Surprisingly sharp and effective humor.
Stunning art style.
High-quality voice acting that really enhances the atmosphere.
Free to play.

CONS:

Short game play.
A few puzzles feel unclear or unintuitive.
The settings UI is terrible.
Took a while to figure how to use item from inventory.

OVERALL:
The story, humor, and atmosphere all hit the mark, making the experience genuinely memorable. The gameplay isn’t the strongest and the length is modest, but considering it’s completely free, it’s absolutely worth trying.
GOOD GAME
Being high is less confusing than this game. 10/10
