Developer has cancer, and want to enjoy his rest of life. not with programming of games https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2730180/view/518589674441147822 [quote] Stepping Away Indefinetely Hi everyone, Alan here. I’ve recently learned that my cancer has progressed and is now affecting my muscles. I don’t have much time left, and I can’t afford the surgery. Because of that, I’ll be stepping away from all my projects (TGST, RootWorks, ALP, TSP, SSBX, etc.) to take time for myself — to travel and do what I’ve always wanted. Thanks for everything, Alan. This one is hard to judge. Especially for a one man project and the fair price. I also liked the visuals. You had fresh ideas like the cars beeing stuck in the floor, the sky level and also the beach where a day was extremely short and the shadows were just dancing around. I wish I could have stayed at the beach a little longer. But there is a little but here. Don't worry, nothing big, could be fixed and should be fixed. First of all I jumped into a deep pool, fell and died. The game even gave me a cause of death. I woke up in the elevator beeing stuck. I could not move. And ESC to go back to the menu doesn't work. So I had to restart the game. Luckily you allow some starting points because the very first level was really a level I don't want to play again. This was also the Level which made me put the game away the first time. The second bug is the wooden slope just before you enter the room with the skyscrapers. I jumped down the slope and was standing next to it and could not get back up. Jumping is not allowed. So I had to ALT-F4 to get out (again) and restart the game. Run through the poolrooms a third time. The last one got me in the sky Level. The door just would not open allthough I had the key. I ran against it again and again and finally got through. I know it must have been a lot of work. I liked the different footsteps on different grounds, like on gras. I liked how the clouds were diffusing. I also liked the sounds. Just give it a little polish. Liminal games make you want to explore, look behind anything you find in the game. Try to open any door, jump in all the pools. If you die and then a bug makes you have to restart the game, you lose interest in exploring, the main reason at least for me to play these games. And please add a rubber duck somewhere :-)
idk, that is fan game to chill
*minor spoilers* best dollar I've spent, other than ceiling generation issues on level 0 and not being able to move after falling in a water hole in the pool rooms its a really nice short experience, with great graphics and great ambiance, especially in the poolrooms. excited for more content to be released very much worth the dollar trust me!
Not what I expected.. 5 / 10
