Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Sep 17 → 7.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Rating: 10/10

Fun platformer with a charming art style

The good stuff:
+ Really good soundtrack, multiple certified bangers + Game oozes with a lot of personality and charm, from the world to the characters and voice acting. It has that cozy, nostalgic feeling to it that reminds you of old 3D platformers like Spyro and Mario Galaxy. + The hats are pretty cool and have some fun abilities that allow you to mix around and get creative with it + Platforming is fun and level design is top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed basically every level in this game. + Death Wish is a great experience for those looking to master the platforming and do some fun challenges (albeit very frustrating and difficult at times too)
The not-so-good stuff:
- I wish the online co-op mode was more developed and actually allowed players to fully play through the campaign together, instead of progress being split amongst the players
Final thoughts:
It's been a while since I played the game so I may have forgotten some parts of the experience. However, to this day a Hat in Time remains one of my favourite platformers, and one thing I do remember is having lots of fun beating it and playing the DLC. I 100% recommend it to anyone who is a big fan of 3D platformers or just wants to play a game that evokes that nostalgic feeling of childhood platformers.

I really really wanted to like this game but it was some real issues. The other big issue i had was with the performance. This game runs terrible. Some maps suck such as the train map that randomly bogged down to 20 fps on 1080p even though i could run most other maps at 1440p 60fps with no issues. The tight platforming required in some sections is incredibly difficult with sluggish as hell controller response time. The game has a lot of charm but it feels like a chore to play and I don't recommend people play this.
Wonderful, absolutely phenomenal! This cute little platformer has captured my heart in a way few other games of any genre manage to these days. I was whisked back to the days of yesteryear when I had my Wii and experienced Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 for the first time. Playing this made something light up in my soul, something I'd long since thought dead and buried; feeling happiness. This platformer takes the conventional genre tropes, refines them, and then goes well beyond what you'd expect. The first world is evocative of past 3D titles and is enjoyable enough in its own right. But I found myself REALLY hooked when dropped into worlds' 2 and 3, where a Hat in Time shapeshifts into a stealth/mystery game and then transmutes itself yet again into a light horror title. World 4 was my personal favorite, both for its stunning beauty and the incredible tower climbs. The boss fights are likewise memorable, and each is done in such a way that it stands out from the ones preceding and succeeding it. The final boss fight especially combines everything that makes the game fantastic and throws it all at you at once. Please, please PLEASE, Gears For Breakfast, this NEEDS a sequel! I will be purchasing it on launch day!
Possibly the silliest game ever. It's really fun to play and makes me laugh a lot! I suggest playing with all my heart!
Un plataformero que reindivica los mecanismos de mario 64 potenciados y pulidos gracias al motor que utiliza, una carta de amor a los juegos indies y con personajes y situaciones divertidad y con diseño artistico increibles.
Super charming game, loads of polish, loads of content, loads of variety, great music, great for kids (with the exception of a couple of pretty scary bits)
