Overwhelmingly positive for good reason. This game was so cute and represented a fantastic homage to the classic 3D Mario games. It was easily at its best when it went beyond its genre tropes, dropping you into wacky situations, such as a murder mystery or even a haunted mansion. Whilst short, its length was perfect, and it was paced superbly with escalating challenge and ambition. The voice acting was notably excellent too with equally memorable art direction. I strongly recommend this if you like 3D platformers, and it’s a must play if you like [i]Super Mario Galaxy[/i] in particular.

Oozing with personality and charm, truly a marvel of indie game development and the quite possible best indie 3D platformer of time with an absolute BANGER of a soundtrack.
Mon jeu préféré depuis déjà plusieurs années et un de mes premier platformer 3D, j'adore ses personnages, ses musiques et son humour. Niveau gameplay, Hat Kid est très sympa à manier, simplement se balader dans les niveaux sans aucun objectif précis est vraiment agréable. Le jeu a aussi une communauté de modders talentueux encore active même presque 10 ans après sa sortie, ce qui offre régulièrement du nouveau contenu ! J'attends avec impatience le prochain jeu des développeurs.
