Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 13.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Build your city into the most powerful of all kingdoms through endless combinations of buildings, units, spells, and positioning. Take advantage of chaotic combos and powerful perks to break the game and become overpowered. Grow your kingdom in strategic ways, prepare for dozens of unique events, and show the world your kingdom can outlast all others in both single and async multiplayer.

From humble village to massive citadel, your capital recruits your units and grows their power. Expand your kingdom strategically over time and build it to survive decades of war and strife.

From sturdy knights and warlocks, to glass cannon wizards and bombers, to hordes of fiendish imps and sentient mushrooms, there are dozens of units to lead and fight. Stockpile gold to hire thousands of mercenaries to your cause, use dark magic to raise the dead, and harness nature itself to bring down your enemies!

Each of the kings has a different starting deck of buildings, troops, and spells, but you can loot the rival kings who attack your lands to access cards from their unique decks. Make peace with those whose units don’t fit your playstyle, and declare war against kings with the powers and units you covet, deploying the tools acquired from your enemy to unlock countless combinations of stacking buffs and modifiers to build an invincible army.

Async multiplayer mode pits you against eight rival kings to see whose kingdom survives the longest. Climb the ranks and prove yourself to truly be the king of kings, complete with cosmetic customization using rewards you’ve unlocked through daily challenges and medals earned along the way.
Quest Mode introduces unique mechanics-bending challenges as you travel the known world and face off against its kings to collect their crowns for yourself.
Endless Mode has you choose a king and face endless attacks from enemy kings and their most powerful warriors – how long can you survive the onslaught?
Combine your cards in endless ways – try out insane builds and watch massive armies fight for your crown, survive as long as you can against increasingly powerful enemies, or break the game and watch all challengers crumble before you.

One of these game, where you can scale up your deck to get a snowball rolling ...or where you find no edge in and need to wait for the next run and hope to unlock something that will help you progress. As the lower difficulties and early kings are quite easy, one gets easily hooked. It's a great in-between-games game.
Tiene u RNG pero verdaderamente te premia por adaptarte y conseguir adaptarte a tu suerte. Mi unica observacion es que me gustaria saber como afectan las dificultades, por que si noto aumento de dificultad pero no se en que

Gets super boring very fast
I have 100%d the game, and reached ~middling King Rank in Multiplayer. I love 9 kings. The game is crunchy, but allows (and even expects) you to break it in creative ways. Each of the kings is unique and distinct with a variety of playstyles. I am especially fond of Time, Progress, and Nomads. My favorite part of the game is quest mode, though I think a few of the quests are a little bit too rng, especially on Chaos Difficulty where the best play sometimes is just reset until you hit a specifc combo. The multiplayer is also wildly unbalanced, but I have fun with it all the same. Absolutely worth your time if you like auto battlers and seeing numbers go up. There's more depth here than you might notice at first glance. I can't wait to see what else they add!
An impressive rougelike that has simplified strategy city-building elements down to a tight and engaging loop. Though 9 Kings is not the first of it's kind, it simplifies it's mechanics down to a much more approachable place compared to others in the same subgenre that works well in it's favor. It's mix of units and building types across its 9 classes does a great job in giving the player a lot of options to work with but the strategy component isn't always there. Sometimes runs would end suddenly due to the enemy scaling rocketing past what I was capable of doing with what I had. Sometimes runs would be a cakewalk as I got a good selection of cards that happened to make me unstoppable. Though after you reach your 30 year (every turn in the game is a year and the 30 year mark is the general goal you're working towards in each run or in the quest mode generally) you can go up until year 99, once you've hit that point you're either going to scale endlessly and win, or you're going to get utterly decimated within seconds. 9 Kings is not really a game with a middle point of possibilities, it really is sink or swim in most cases; you have either built your mini-kingdom with the right combinations and synergies to soar to victory, or you're scrambling to do anything with the cards you've been given that just aren't giving you what you need. Though there is a lot of variety between your classes (represented by each of the titular 9 Kings), it does feel like I was almost always going for one of four or so play strategies that ultimately made whatever my starting class was feel pretty moot. There's a lot of potential here and what's already out is a very good and addicting little rougelike, but I'm interested to see how future patches and updates are going to tweak it's strategy components more to help with the longevity of the game's shelflife.

Mix of Tower Defense, Slay the Spire, and Balatro. Fantastic game. SOOO addicting!
Absolutely love this game, the quests are very challenging I just wish that the multiplayer was proper 1VS1 and not whatever it currently is. I'm hoping for updates soon including even more kings!
