It's not a terrible game, more of a propaganda piece that gives you a glass half full view of refugees. I wouldn't pay full price for it but if you pick it up somewhere it's worth a play.
Yes Yes Very good game
This is a good, cheap game that you don't have to spend too much time on but that you will think about afterwards.
Ihan mielenkiintoinen peli. Yksinkertainen mutta oli pakko pelata loppuun.
21 Days is a simulation game of the life of a fictional Syrian refugee in a foreign city trying to balance work, family, religion, and other factors over the course of three weeks. There is the pressure of finding work, eating regularly, learning a new language, keeping mentally sane, all against ensuring there is money to send home so the family does not starve. Interaction is limited to moving left and right and occasional prompts to speak with people or use objects. Presentation is low resolution and deliberately bland as is the sound and interface which stay out of the way of the story. Through a method of day after day of grinding attrition the game conveys the quiet desperation of an average refugee trying to build a new life out of ashes in a frequently arbitrary and hostile environment with limted time and very limited resources.
