I enjoyed it for what it was, but the game isn't worth $10. I received it as part of humble bundle many years ago. I finished it within an hour and a half. The game tells a story that never takes off, comprised of slices of knock-offs of games made popular during the 80's. The games only last long enough to end once you find your stride. There's not enough here for etiher gameplay or story.

it's a short yet really fun game. There's a nice story and in between the story you get to play cool nostagia-inducing arcade-style games. Each mini-game was different and they were all super fun. I do wish we got to see more of that beat-em-up at the beginning, it was cut super short by a pretty boring and long cut scene. I'm glad I stuck around because it does get better after that. The art style is really beautiful. I especially found myself admiring the background passing me by during the driving mini-game. However, I really didn't appreciate that the story was left on a cliffhanger with "to be continued" but it's been 7 years with no sign of anything being continued. The story was just getting started and it was abruptly cut off just like that beat-em-up mini-game. It felt like I played a demo rather than a full blown game, especially with how short it is and because the story never goes anywhere.
This charming but short retro game features a number of different nostalgic mini-games, which, when combined with the excellent pixel art and 80s sensibilities kept me intrigued from start to finish. Took me 2.5 hours to complete.

Really good!
A really nice and short game that remembers some classics games from the past. The pixel art is gorgeous, and the soundtrack really makes you travel to the past. The games are fun and I wish that there were more games. There is an emotive history to tie the games. We can see that the developers really worked with passion in this game.
