About
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.
Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
Explore a handcrafted Amsterdam by day. At night, uncover what lies beneath its surface. Every facade carries a gablestone. Not all of them tell the truth.
The Originals walk among Amsterdam’s citizens, hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Mark them. When the Esbat comes, confront them in their true form under the moon. Collect what is owed.
Noa commands witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations of Zaindaris. Each target can be approached in multiple ways. Strategy, timing, and choice define the outcome. Every Esbat is a reckoning.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat. Together, they are one: Switch between Noa and Aaron across two radically different playstyles. One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.

Reviews
After playing the demo, I didn't think it could get any worse. HOLY F*CK was I wrong. I'll keep it brief: The characters and story are wooden and boring. The voice acting and dialogue are atrocious. The combat is laughably bad. Ironically, the only thing I didn't have an issue with was performance. There is not a single redeeming aspect to this game. God help you if you spent your own money on it.
First, it's cool to see a Developer that was f*cked over by Ubisoft (literally had their work stolen and was dragged through court) getting to bring his vision to light. The concept for this game is fresh and innovative and the vibes are great. Story is a very fresh idea that could end up being a standout in third person action-adventure games. Combat mechanics are still a bit rough, but so far, quite interesting. Developers have shown themselves to be transparent and open to criticism and feedback, as well as committed to make their game the best it can be. (Relating to the AI controversy, developers have assured that all AI assets will not be present in the final build and were used to make a game of this magnitude possible with the resources of a relatively small studio)

https://youtube.com/live/rVwY5lA9q2M
I LOVE this game so far. The story is intriguing and it is visually STUNNING. (of course I'd expect nothing less from some of the same creators of assassins creed) Understanding that its in early access, it does have some things that need a bit more shaping. The cat mechanics are.....rough but the concept is brilliant! I felt like some of the animations were a bit tedious to repeatedly go through, especially after dying. I also had trouble with actually finding things. I'm not saying I expected more hand holding...but I didn't expect it to take me so long to find some of the secret rooms.... I did enjoy exploring in the process though. All in all I'm excited to see how this develops and how beautiful the end product will be.
I wish I could recommend this game, I was so excited for its release and don't get me wrong I love the concept and the theme, the characters are beautiful and the music is lovely, the voice actors are great but it was nowhere near ready for release... The dualsense mapping is nonexistent it made it impossible to use my controller and using mouse and keyboard was so unbelievably uncomfortable, I was falling through textures, the game kept stuttering or just outright freezing, some of the instructions in the gameplay just weren't clear and there was no way to have them repeated if you missed them which made things so frustrating and everything just feels so clunky... I do really hope this game does better and fixes its issues because I really would like to play it through..
Very interesting story! I will not comment about optimization due to my rig being too high end to see negative effects. I think the story is very good and the voice acting, especially from the Protagonist is awesome. I know some drew parallels from forespoken but id rather they have the cat talk with the main lead to push the story out instead of "tell versus" show. Its a different idea and much more of a "walk from point A to B" and they tell the story. Look forward to what the game looks like as it gets more polish!
idk why so many people are hating. the game is fun, the graphics are insane and combat is not that hard.
IT DOSENT WORK AT ALL.
