Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Zup! 9 Review (English) Zup! 9 is the ninth entry in Quiet River’s minimalist physics puzzle series, released on June 24, 2019. The main new feature is gravity blocks: they temporarily invert gravity, making the ball “fall” upward or stick to the ceiling. Otherwise, the formula stays familiar: explode blocks, guide the ball to the platform, hold it for 3 seconds. What the Game Is About The goal remains the same: get the blue ball to the dark‑green platform and hold it there for exactly 3 seconds (the hold mechanic from Zup! 6). But now levels actively use gravity blocks: when triggered, they invert gravity in an area, so the ball starts moving “upward” relative to the screen. This breaks usual patterns: what used to be a safe floor can become a dangerous ceiling, and vice versa. Zup! 9 combines several mechanics from previous entries: Hold timer (from Zup! 6) — the ball must stay on the platform for 3 seconds, otherwise the level doesn’t count. Portals and brown blocks (from Zup! 7) — teleport the ball and destroy portals to change the route. Transparent blocks (from Zup! 8) — disappear after the ball touches them, creating one‑time paths. Gravity blocks (new in Zup! 9) — invert gravity direction, forcing you to rethink trajectories. Given that you have a decent PC, there will be no technical issues: the game is tiny and runs smoothly even on very modest hardware and on Steam Deck. What’s Inside Levels. Over 60 stages named with letters, numbers, and symbols (A–Z, 0–9, special characters). Achievements. 770 achievements — significantly fewer than in Zup! 8 (3,240), but still enough to boost your Steam profile level. There are secret ones: blow up the Christmas tree, click the gear icon in settings, click the Zup! logo in the main menu, etc. Steam cards. 7 collectible trading cards, emoticons, and a profile background. Reviews. 94 % positive out of 350+ Steam reviews — Very Positive. Completion time. Median time for 100 % completion is about 1.5–2 hours. Pros New gravity mechanic. Inverted gravity changes planning: you must consider that the ball can “stick” to the ceiling or fly upward after an explosion. Balanced achievement count. 770 achievements feel more meaningful than the farming overload in Zup! 8; it’s a comfortable amount for collectors. Minimal requirements. Runs on anything, including old laptops and Steam Deck. Short and relaxing playthrough. You can comfortably finish it in one evening without stress. Calm atmosphere. Relaxing music and minimalist visuals create a laid‑back vibe instead of a high‑pressure experience. Cons Formula repetition. Despite the gravity twist, the core loop remains the same: click, explode, ball flies. After 60 levels, it can feel repetitive. Fragile solutions. Transparent blocks plus altered gravity make some levels very sensitive to small mistakes: a single miscalculation often forces a restart. No major difficulty spike. Gravity adds variety, but it doesn’t make puzzles truly challenging; most levels are solved in 1–2 tries. No visual or audio updates. Same minimalist style and basic sound design as previous entries. Who It’s For Series fans who want to collect all the entries. Fans of short, low‑stress physics puzzles. Steam card, emoticon, and background collectors. Players who want achievements without the extreme farming of Zup! 8. Verdict Zup! 9 doesn’t break the series formula, but it does make it more interesting with gravity blocks: they force you to look at familiar trajectories in a new way and plan explosion sequences more carefully. If you’re here for cards, achievements, and a relaxing evening with simple puzzles, it’s a good pick. If you’re expecting deep gameplay evolution or hardcore challenges, you might want to look elsewhere.
