A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.

Horrible horrible UI. 16 years later this game managed to have a worse UI than the 2010 game that is SC2. Unit icons in selection are so small you barely tell which is which. Unified abilities tab is great, but many of the abilities lack a range preview, like the jump pack or the heal burst, both of which are available starting from mission 1. Armory fails to show the whole text when you select an upgrade, also no indication that upgrades are mutually exclusive. No info on what the hero does in the hero selection tab (how tf am I supposed to decide who to use??). Damaged units' health bars hoes NOT linger when you select the 'damaged' option for health bar display (wtf, you had one job!). Also, this game has no brightness/gamma slider or I can't find it. Mission 1 happens to be dark asf just to complement this feature (or the lack thereof). It would not have been a tall order to implement this. Also, is it me or can you not make manual saves in the campaign? I had a crash in mission 1 and lost all progress, good thing the mission wasn't very long. I was genuinely thrown off when I was about to reach the same point and tried to save just in case - well I guess saving just isnt a thing here. Last but not least - the Chinese localization clearly had zero(0) person to proofread it. It's currently worse than if chatgpt did the whole translation work. THERE ARE 英语 WORDS LEFT OVER IN THE 翻译后的 CHINESE TEXT. Did the Chinese words in there catch you off guard? Yeah, I thought so too. The leftovers are in various places and inconsistent (as in the same word is not always left untranslated), so it's very clear these aren't intentional. It's literally stated on steam store page this this game has, get this, FULL TEXT in Chinese - when in reality it doesn't. Tempest Rising did a great job at this on launch and I don't remember any similar issues. This game in its current state requires some extent of telepathic powers to play. Because why else would the devs omit so much essential information? So I'll just non-telepathically refund for now and be back when that requirement is lifted. Peace.

I played through the first few campaign levels and like, maybe I'm an idiot but I have no idea what's going on. Gameplay is okay, I guess but really underbaked current story is a mess, lots of animation jitters in conversations and t-posing, this one has sus seeping from every crack in my opinion, especially with the recent stream of positive reviews. The ability QOL is nice, being able to just hot key hero abilities right away even with multiple selected makes life better for my big dumb brain, the only thing I got out of it really. I'd say keep your distance, especially at $40 USD not worth the risk at all. Wait for some meaningful progress, and hopefully campaign progress or rework cause its bad chief.
This game is very promising. Whats there of the campaign is enjoyable, as is the Galactic Conquest mode. But be aware that this is proper early access, not just a preview of a finished product. I'd say right now the asking price is a bit much for what is there, but if they follow through on what they promised it will be.
For a new game the mechanics is quite old . the camera angle zoom out is not good , population limit is not good .
Solid concepts all around, netcode is good Debatably worth it, emphasis on the 'early' part of EA.
I like the game, but it needs more development, like there are bugs that can be catastrophic to gameplay, such as a recent one I discovered, after maxing out my dreadnaught ship, with tempests it became immovable, after attempting to move it with a warp tower, it just decided.... to exit the map at mach speed. But additionally, on how the game runs, it runs pretty well, but unfortunately, it has the tendency to use more of your computers resources than it actually needs to run, which causes your computer to work overtime, for a game that does not need that much to run. Maybe its like "there's a potential for more thing" but I think it runs pretty smoothly, and just needs more optimization, because sometimes when units are attacked, you are unable to cast immediate abilities which removes the responsiveness you want in the midst of combat, which is quite chaotic, as models overlap, pushing each other aside, creating a scene of little to no response time. But all-in-all, it's a pretty good game, I don't think its ready if there are foundational issues, especially with units just... straight up becoming uncommandable though, or the game itself freezing due to your computer not being able to supply the amount of memory or processing power to the game.
Best RTS ever, dont hear childs who never play the ld RTS, the imagine dragons who dont exist in reality, i am 42 years old, i play only RTS in my life, if devs cntinue the hard work, this game will be the best ever, galactik wars is something who cant find it anywhere and its the future of RTS who will make them people prefer it over the onther type of online games, continue hard work and really all people suport this game, it start something huge!!!
I unfortunately can not recommend this game at this time. I do see great potential here which is why I will not be refunding but in its current state the game has only a few hours of real content. The campaign is not released and felt rather limited. The galactic war is a great concept but needs a few patches in my opinion. More objectives - better missions - better economy gameplay - UI fixes - better purpose added to galactic war. Also I don't really get the concept of the galactic war if we can freely change factions. Whole thing felt a bit strange to me then when you dive in, its really only 8 or whatever mission types that are all pretty similar. Often the missions are extremely rushed and it feels like you are just using your overpowered hero to kite around the map. I think this game will be great after a year or so of more development. Looking forward to it.
Whatever problems you have with previous RTS this game probably solved them. Quality of life EVERYWHERE. It's not perfect, but it's so fun and again fixes many complaints from other RTS. Can que up buildings before you have resources so it just auto builds when you have the money for it. 1 button to build production of anything all buildings together. 1 button for all research broken down by unit so easy to see what upgrade to pick for what unit no guessing. Aggression is rewarded so turtling is punished making games more fun and never boring. With either or talent and upgrade options with so many races and mercenary options you can play 10 games in a row against the same person even with the same build and it would feel different if you swapped mercenary or talents. Have the ranked 1v1 or 2v2 option with also AI and Co-OP. Also, the galaxy war is really cool. Haven't touched campaign yet, but galaxy war alone is worth the price could play for 50 hours. tl;dr Game is very fun and easy to play.
