A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.

In it's current state I would only recommend this game if you want to support the developers. While the game has incredible potential and some fantastic concepts like: separate coop and pvp balance and mechanics, unique faction design, streamlined economy, mercenary factions etc, there lies more than a couple of problems. ZeroSpace is currently in a very early alpha state (it literally says so in the menus). With that comes a lot of bugs, unfinished/undercooked features, technical problems and balance issues. The team is also a small group of 35 people that work mostly remotely in different parts of the world, so progress won't be as fast as in other bigger studios. There is also the price issue. As I understand the mentioned 40 $/euro is the final price, so the 1.0 release should not increase it. The problem is that many complete and fully polished titles cost 40 euro or less and people will judge your game based on the price to content ratio. Which is understandable after Stormgate and the overall ♥♥♥♥♥♥ economical situation of most people. Finally the game will take a considerable amount of time to get out of EA. Based on the amount of things that are missing, need more work or even reworks I would guess that about 2 years are needed for the game to reach version 1.0 . Which is why the 40 euro price tag is very controversial. You are paying for the promise of a 1.0 release, which after the Stormgate fiasco is a very bold move. Despite that I think that ZeroSpace will eventually reach 1.0 and become a truly worthy successor of StarCraft 2. It is a very ambitious project and the developers have a clear vision how they want to develop the game. I wish them good luck.

If you want to be an early access contributor to the next Stormgate, ZeroSpace is for you.
As others have said, this game feels like the spiritual successor to StarCraft 2. I am really enjoying it.
I played in all the playtests and every time it ended, I was incredibly sad. That being said, the amount of work the devs put into it definitely shows - it's a really good game, and it's amazing to see the progress you guys made. Thanks a lot and congrats on the release! In all honesty, if you're expecting a complete and polished game - don't. It's in a proper Early Access state: there are some bugs and the UI is kind of unpolished, but all of that is in the dev roadmap already, so it should get fixed soon. 1v1 is really good and I've been enjoying it a lot. The coop event the devs prepared is really fun too, and the mode in general is creative. Taking my pink glasses off, in the current state, I'm well getting the fun out of the game worth $40. 10/10 considering EA, please keep going!
I cannot play this game with arrow keys for moving the camera around the map, also edge scrolling is just not for me. Too much going on, I have to move the camera on the map fast, I am best to do that with the ADSW keys, however there is no way to select this option. For me the game is unplayable without this feature. The arrow keys are for the right hand, my right hand is on the mouse. Who thought this was a good idea?
Love the graphics, versus mode is pretty well built out at this stage, and galactic war has been fantastic. I love the larger units too. I'm a SC2 vet that was a ladder player.
holt euch lieber starcraft 2
They are inept devs who nerf any fun or cool build or high tier unit instead of letting people learn to micro or find counters e.g. 3 separate nerfs to the Dark Disciple Mammoth. It is is now unplayable instead of a minor adjustment they make it worthless and slow. Its truly pathetic that they cater to mass tier 1 A move units with no micro required. In streams and tournaments it's the same boring thing to watch mass commando or lasher. Mass turtle building spam to block projectiles is also uncredibly lame and boring to watch as a viewer. People use 1 or 2 comps of tier 1 units. CatZ has horrible reasoning for the nerfs on his stream and mass nerfs legion towers and Dark disciple mammoth to the ground because he plays protectorate. Meanwhile 1 hellfire will get more value for half the cost and has infinite range with very little counters. Save your money they pump and dumped this game with the $40 price tag and endless bugs and imbalance.
