About
Plunge into Yuha's dreams in this nightmare simulator and live through her feelings and traumas. Collect artifacts, memories and sounds to put her story together. A game based on the real dreams of developer Yuliya Kozhemyako, Yuha's waking-life alter ego.
"Catastrophe," the first episode, fixates on thoughts of home. What happens when you suddenly have to leave? Can you find a new one, in this world or perhaps another? The episode is haunted by questions of responsibility, by relationship with mother and motherland, by the artifacts that carry our stories in times of crisis. What do we keep with us, what do we leave behind...and what can we translate into the virtual world?
The game drops you into eerie but familiar dreamscapes: apocalypse, returning to a childhood home, disappearing staircases, sluggish limbs, losing your voice, everything a storm. Don't just observe the dream. Play the dream.
Explore Yuha’s unconscious by accessing the Wireframe World: the invisible, digital architecture underpinning many games. Look through walls, see how levels are built and uncover the secrets lodged both deep in the game and in Yuha's mind.
Glitches can be found across the dreamscape. Your field of view shifts and what you see won't always match what you feel. You can get stuck in the surfaces, but there’s always a way out.
Gameplay changes from one level to the next. Collect items against the clock, escape a house, dodge bullets (or let them find their target), pick your cat out of a crowd and more. But the quest stays the same: understand how the world works and how to interact with it. Reach the end to reveal the full story.
The game will come out in episodes, each with its own theme. The first, "Catastrophe," contains over 20 dream levels. Each is a separate adventure with common threads that players weave together as they sink deeper into the nightmare.
