Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've been playing this game since 2020, it has never gotten boring and YT Life's 2 is even more fun! Highly recommend it!

игра хорошая, не могу ничего сказать, но по сравнению со второй и третьей частями, это шедевр. ну а так да, рекомендую
Rating: 5/10 -Mid

TLDR:
A YouTuber sim with good ideas but lacks polish and interesting gameplay. I remember seeing this game being played by YouTubers when it was in early access or something. Im really not sure if I want to recommend this or not. The longer I played, the more I had to lower the score. I have only played through the game with the gaming channel type. You can choose between gaming, music, cooking and fashion. Im not interested in the rest so I can’t say anything about the other three.
Positive:
Premise: You are a young dude (or girl depending on your choice) with a dream…becoming the biggest gaming YouTuber on the planet. Fame, money and a big mansion is what you desire but there is a long way ahead of you. You start out in your mom’s apartment. You don’t have to pay rent and you don’t have to buy food. You only have to get good grades in school or your mom will take away your gaming gear (like my mom did). You grow your channel, get money and start to live off your YouTube income. You move out to bigger living spaces. You have to start paying rent and for food. You can hire people to do videos for you and pay them a salary. This is the part about the game I loved the most. You start out as this unknown kid with zero cash and work your way up. You become independent. You grow up and start a business with your channel. This game is pretty much a coming of age story in the digital age. Art Style: Im unable to describe it properly but I think I would call it kinda 3D cartoonish? The textures look kinda outdated and pixelated and im not sure if this was intentional or not. Even the audio of people talking is a bit low bitrate so I guess they where going for a low res, lofi aesthetic.
Negative:
Gameplay: Here we go. The bad. The main gameplay loop of the game is recording videos. You have to basically play 2 minigames per video. What would you think of if you had to design minigames for this? The devs thought of a card system. In the first half of making a video, you have to pick reaction cards depending on the situation. The game gives you a situation like „you got an achievement“ and then you can choose between a small set of cards with actions. Every video has stats you have to try to max out like scrip, performance, sound, and video quality. Every card has certain amounts of stat boosts to increase the videos general stats. Even after beating the game, I still don’t fully understand the system and it feels like a really dumb mechanic. The game tells me „You got a powerful item“ and the game gives me weird cards like „be disappointed“ or „constructive criticism“. If you think the cards don’t fit the situation, you can reroll to get another pair of useless weird cards. I stopped looking at the scenario and just used the card that gave me the most points in a stat that needs more points. The game really doesn’t care if your reaction fits the scenario. „The battery of your cam dies“ and Im able to choose „laugh joyfully“ and it actually grants more points than the other available cards (I don’t know about you but I’d be pissed if my battery dies mid recording). I felt like im a mentally deranged dude, reacting completely wrong to every situation but still getting good amounts of points. My character was basically a masochist. You can choose copyrighted cards that potentially get you in trouble and you have to pay a fine. They are marked with a red symbol and yield the most points. There is a „play copyrighted music“ card to increase audio stat. Ok. There’s „play tv show clip“. Ok. „Play nyan cat“. What?!? Play „confused black girl meme“. This a joke right? How will putting memes in your videos get you in trouble. Nyan cat was everywhere and I still see confused black girl to this day. Memes are not copyrighted and no one can strike you for them. Everyone uses them. As if everything wasn’t bad enough, you have to do this in every video you make and you will do a couple hundreds. The second minigame is simpler. Every reaction card generates a clip. You will generate like 12 clips. You are in the video editor now and arrange them correctly and add post processing. After you‘re done, you can render and upload the video. Rendering on the best PC in the game takes about 8 ingame hours btw. Wow. It takes over 12 hours on the lower end machines. Wow. What are you rendering? A Pixar movie? This game came out in 2016. were PC‘s that slow back then? Consoles: You can buy consoles in the game. They get released and later their production gets halted and you can’t buy them anymore. Im a completionist so I wanted to have all consoles. I didn’t always buy the consoles in time because I thought I would be able to buy them later on an ingame eBay or something (the game has Ikea and Amazon with swapped names in it). I was wrong. If they are gone, they are gone forever. I had to restart my save cause I really wanted to get all consoles. The game has Ikea and Amazon but no eBay to buy vintage classic games or discontinued consoles… Music: I remember the early access version having only one song playing all the time that was surprisingly nice to listen to over and over again. They thankfully have added multiple songs now but they all suck. Seriously, what is this goofy ahh music. It sounds amateurish and annoying and really bad and out of key sometimes. I‘d much rather have one good song playing over and over again than listen to these songs. A video game having bad music ist a rare exception. This game is one of those exceptions. Game speed: This game has so much stuff that takes too long. Before you can choose all reaction cards, you have to wait for them to all appear one by one before choosing. Its short but it adds up. please just show them all at once without this animation. Visiting game releases is boring aswell. You just click through text boxes and that’s it. Just let me skip them. You have to visit them or you get kicked out of your YouTube network. The game just has to much things and animations that slows it down. If your game has repeating animations and events, make them skippable. The game could have really benefited from a skip button. Performance: generally Ok but it can break. Whenever a PC broke, it would start showing spark particles. Those particles lock my game to 15-20 fps. Whenever the game started lagging I knew that a PC was broken somewhere and I was right every single time. When the PC got fixed and the sparks went away, the game started to go up in frames again. After completing the game, I still wanted to play but I had to stop cause the game didn’t want to stop stuttering. It was a pain to play so I dropped it. An update was released but that couldn’t fix my problem. Months later, I upgraded my CPU from a „Ryzen 5 2600“ to a „Ryzen 9 9900X3D“ that doubled my frames in all of my games. I then booted up YTL again and bamm…the stuttering was gone. Great, I can play again. Not because the devs fixed their broken game or anything. My CPU just outruns this pathetic ass code.
Conclusion:
While I had fun playing the game, upgrading my ingame PC, making better videos and growing a channel, its held down by repetitive gameplay and the lack of polish and care from the devs. I was able to enjoy it but im sure there are tons of people that are gona get bored in no time. I can't recommend this at the current price of 20$. I can recommend trying it out on sale though. If you are ok with that repetitive and confusing card system, this might be something for you. Something I didn't interact with in the game is the romance system. You can get a GF and get married but im a loner IRL so my character has to stay a virgin ingame too.
Youtubers Life
Rating: 3/10 — Below-Average Time Waster
The Short Version
Verdict: I completed this game 100% when it first came out and remembered it being decent enough, but picking it back up today through a game bundle was a reality check. It’s a below-average title that does nothing special.

[th]Category[/th] [th]Verdict[/th]

Gameplay Depth Mindless / Time Waster

Technical State Buggy

Enjoyment Factor Low (Boring after a short while)

The Creator's Grind
"Fine in the moment, forgettable shortly after." If you want something low-effort to half-play while winding down, this fits that niche. But as an actual management sim with any real staying power, it falls pretty flat.

The Loop Gets Old Fast: This time around I didn't even make it past the third house before losing interest. The core gameplay just doesn't have enough hooks to keep pulling you back.
Not Much Going On: There's no real depth here. It functions fine as background noise, but if you're actively paying attention, the shallow design becomes obvious pretty quickly.
Soft Recommendation Anyway: Despite the low score, I'm still giving it a passing thumbs up someone out there will genuinely enjoy this casual loop. Just go in knowing exactly what you're getting.

The Technical Issues
"When the bugs aren't fighting you, the game is perfectly playable." The core mechanics work well enough on their own, but a couple of bugs made the experience noticeably worse.

Menu Lock: I got completely stuck in a menu while trying to select my next video to record. No way out except Alt+F4. Not a fun situation.
Pathfinding Bug: My character got permanently stuck in a doorway with no way to recover. Had to close the game and reopen it.

Final Thoughts
Who is this for? Casual players who want a low-stakes, low-attention management game ideally picked up cheap in a bundle. Conclusion: A fair 3/10. Not the worst game out there, but not one that holds up well either. If it lands in a bundle, it's worth an afternoon. Just don't expect it to keep you around much longer than that.
it's entertaining for killing time, replayed for the first time since its launch (i think) and was entertaining enough for time to pass by with constant tasks to perform and lots of meters to take care
Un clasico
Do you want to start a Youtube channel...in this game you can YouTubers Life OMG is an agreeable video-making tycoon game wrapped up in a few fundamental problems. The main gameplay loop is compelling, and it's a pleasure to watch as your subscriber tally and bank account start to soar. Youtubers Life is a good managing game focused on a wired profession. All the mechanics are implemented with knowledge of the argument and the care for details is evident. It's a shame that, after a few hours, everything becomes a little bit boring and very samey...making youtube videoes..making videos for friends. going out eat sleep repeat. One bad video you can lose viwers one ban tweet you can lose followers IANS37 RATING 5/10 COMPLETED - 1 TIME
