Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A cool game, but unfortunately, I’ll have to drop it. After hitting 80 million subscribers, it became absolutely awful to play. You gain about 10–20 thousand subscribers per video (that’s with 5 stars and no "Viral Video" buff). With the viral buff, it went a bit better — about 50–60 thousand. And the funniest part: to reach 90 million, I had to get a –10% subscriber debuff 2–3 times. So from 88 million, I rolled back to 80 million — and that’s another 1–2 hours of non-stop grinding. You get a strike — and lose 500K or even 1M subscribers. 15K per strike? I’m not even talking about two strikes at once. I didn’t bother with streams, because, in my opinion, it’s just card-based nonsense. Right after the first hour of gameplay, I wanted to request a refund, but I was dumb enough to give the game a chance to hook me. In the end, I logged 35+ hours. And my final verdict? Delete and forget — it’s just a boring grindfest. As for the story — there’s nothing to say, because there is none. Bugs are everywhere. I even thought about making a list of them, but I gave up because I realized this game just won’t matter to me in the future. For anyone hoping to reach at least top 3 in NewTube — don’t bother. After top 15, you’ll need at least 5–6 hours just to get to top 10. And after top 10 — at least 20 more hours of non-stop play. And that’s in the best-case scenario, assuming you don’t get hit with the –10% debuff multiple times and don’t get strikes. With those debuffs, you’re looking at 50+ hours total. Don’t expect any communication from the developers. On their Twitter and Discord, all you see is discount announcements. But about what they’re actually working on or what plans they have for the game — zero. Nothing. Just "buy the game." And don’t get me started on the Ricco challenge. What was the point of it? I sat around for 3–4 days and didn’t see a single player who actually wanted to take part in it. In short, I should’ve just requested a refund right away. I regret wasting my money. The price is overinflated, even with the discount.

Buggy as hell!
I've always played the Youtubers life games. This latest one gives me mixed feelings. The punishment mechanic for missing rent etc feels far too harsh, especially as it takes everything you've worked for away and practically sets you back to the beginning. Change that and I'd more likely recommend it.
TLDR on the bottom if you can't be asked to read. The game is an okay game in the early game, up until you need to get to 50M subs, it just becomes a complete grind, which i get it is part of the game and how it is designed, The streaming feature is a card based gamemode and it is definetly the worst part of the game because it feels like it is just straight out luck if you win or not because if you get a bad cycle or a bad upgrade and they get a better one you just lose and can't do anything about it and it is sadly the best way to gain subs. The strikes are not the biggest problem in the early game. but when you reach 60-90M subs it becomes annoying because you are losing a lot of subs for 10 minutes straight and cant do much about it. The gameplay loop is the same as the other titles just much worse. if you are planing on getting this game get the other titles instead, i would not even get this game if it was on sale. As for example the moment i felt like i was done with the game is when i got a strike on a video that i cant physically cannot controll because your editor is the one getting it copystriked. I was sitting at 90M subs 10M away from Sub cap which is 99.9M all of my streams/Videos are getting 5 stars WITH viral and getting over 130-150M views PER video and getting like 200k-600k subs per video depending IF i have the productive bonus which gives you Double subs and the strike makes it so that when i had 4 of these videos going at the same time, i still lose more subs than i gain. But i feel like i was happy with what i got done in the game, the streaming rank system "Called Glitch" i got rank 1 Globaly and got somewhere around rank 15 globaly in subs. I think if you just completely ignore the streaming aspect of the game it is a ok game but if you want to do the streaming and all that it comes a much worse of a game. Also i 100% the game and some achievments are almost impossible to get because there is not a single soul playing this game maybe like 5-10 souls if you are lucky. The endgame is just ♥♥♥♥ aswell as you can only do 4 gameplay PER video and a total of 7 Videos of 1 game not including streams. If you stream the game you can upload videos of it infinitely but as mentioned above the streaming is utterly complete garbage and just not worth dipping into at all. I clocked in a little but over 30 hours of this game i enjoyed the game an ok amount for about 20 hours of my playtime. The last couple of hours just honestly just misery. In my opinion i feel like the game does not respect YOUR time at least in the endgame forcing you to sink in multiple hours just to gain a little bit of progress just for it to be wiped from a strike. TLDR * Game is ok if you are if you are just focusing on the videos aspect. * Endgame is TERRIBLE because of Strikes mostly around 60-90M subs * Streaming is the best way to get subs but the worst part of the game * Streaming is pretty much luck based * Strikes in the endgame makes you lose 4-10M subs not including the 10% -subs * If you are going for 100% it is almost impossible to do without a friend * Way too overpriced for what you're getting, not even worth buying on sale. * Does not respect your time at all in the end game * Streaming allows you to upload videos of it infinitely. * You are restricted to only 4 gameplay actions per video and a total of 7 videos of one game (excluding streams).
I enjoyed the earlier Youtubers Life game (too much!) So thouight I would get this one. I created a profile, and started the game only for it to get to "live soon", a quick glimpse of the first scene, and then a quick return to the start screen with no option for continuation. At this point, as much as I don't want to requiest a refund, I might need to if I can't figure this our.
Removeram personalizações do YL1...
Game restricts me to 4 video's only of a specific type. ♥♥♥♥ that let me make as many as I want rather than putting me on a hard limit. ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥.
